No tiene sentido que las oportunidades de una sociedad obedezcan a las características físicas de los ciudadanos. ¿No deberían todos poder parquear en todas partes? ¿No deberían todos poder entender una película, aunque algunos sean sordos? ¿No deberían todos los letreros poder ser leídos por todos aunque algunos sean ciegos? ¿No deberían las ciudades adaptarse a las personas en vez de las personas adaptarse a las ciudades? Sí, deberían!! Si fue indignante permitir fuentes de agua "solo para los negros," y permitir el voto "solo para los hombres, ¿no es también indignante permitir tantas cosas etiquetadas "solo para los discapacitados"? La Discapacidad es un Movimiento de Derecho Civil y su objetivo es una verdadera inclusión para todos. Por eso con experiencias reales vamos a hacer que el mundo entienda cómo se siente vivir en una ciudad que segrega. Con un toque de humor sabrán lo que significa ser excluido o discriminado. Nos cansamos de vivir en un mundo que tolera la segregación. Si la Convención sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad de Naciones Unidas se queda en papel, todo será en blanco y negro para siempre. Así que bienvenido al Segregator Project.

En estos días mi novia me mostro un proyecto muy bueno al cual me gustaría hacerle eco. La verdad es que cuando ella me mostro la idea, me parecio rara, pero @eduardocalvache lo implemento en @wundermanco y me pareceio genial ya armado. Se llama Segregator Project y su fin es el de educar a la gente en una cultura inclusiva, en la que todos hagan parte sin importar su condición física o algo asi. "Con experiencias reales vamos a hacer que el mundo entienda cómo se siente vivir en una ciudad que segrega. Con un toque de humor sabrán lo que significa ser excluido o discriminado" - dicen en el site. La idea va algo asi: Se han dedicado a burlarse de los defectos físicos evidentes de las personas, solo con el fin de hacerlos sentir lo mismo que podría sentir una persona con alguna discapacidad. Una forma interesante de crear conciencia. Están usando unas etiquetas emulando las etiquetas para discapacitados. Entre las que levanto @thePinkBrain en el grupo de facebook pude ver tenían desde "Exclusivo para personas con gafas" hasta unas especiales para los orinales de los hombres "Exclusivo para los que lo tienen chiquito", "Exclusivo para los que lo tienen torcido" y "Exclusivo para los que lo tienen grande", por supuesto me quede con esos... con las etiquetas de los orinales, por que los podia poner yo. =) Arme unos videos de la puesta en @armandorecords y en Corferias durante #cpartyco, acá se los dejo para que lo vean. El Salvador a través de Asociación Conexión se une a la campaña de segregación haciendo sensibilización para la inclusión de un entorno accesible para todos de los cuales tenemos los mismos derechos y oportunidades no importando la discapacidad físico-motriz, visual, auditiva, etc. Este videoclip muestra como las personas que visitan nuestro telecentro se encuentran en un entorno con algo que no saben ni conocen y que les dificulta el hacer su actividad; experimentamos con ellos por un momento sentirse excluido de un ambiente (lectura/escritura braile) que no es usual para ellos y la importancia que todos tenemos de un medio o ambiente accesible y permitible para todos sin importar su discapacidad física.
