Motivational Scene from Amelie Poulain - Neighbour's Tape.

The final tape exchange between Amelie and her neighbour, this time the tape is no secret, the neighbour is giving direct advices trying to re-write his own history. He sees an aspect of himself in Amelie and tries to stop Amelie from letting every chance pass by. I think, the movie itself is an absolute piece of art, the performances are very good, the style and the theme of the movie is simply magnificent, it's one of a kind. enjoy!

Michael Strogoff

Michael Strogoff: The Courier of the Czar (French: Michel Strogoff) is a novel written by Jules Verne in 1876. Critics[who?] consider it one of Verne's best books. Unlike some of Verne's other famous novels, it is not science fiction, but a scientific phenomenon is a plot device. The book was later adapted to a play, by Verne himself and Adolphe D'Ennery. Incidental music to the play was written by Jules Massenet in 1880. The book has been adapted several times for films and cartoon series. Music by Vladimir Cosma.

Silence, composed by Beethoven, performed by Ernesto Cortazar.

Ludwig van Beethoven[1] (baptized 17 December 1770[2] -- 26 March 1827) was a German[3] composer and pianist. The crucial figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western art music, he remains one of the most famous and influential composers of all time. Born in Bonn, then the capital of the Electorate of Cologne and part of the Holy Roman Empire, Beethoven moved to Vienna in his early 20s, studying with Joseph Haydn and quickly gaining a reputation as a virtuoso pianist. His hearing began to deteriorate in the late 1790s, yet he continued to compose, conduct, and perform, even after becoming completely deaf. [1] 1. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beethoven_(disambiguation)

theme from Top Gun , Memories.

Memories is one of the many well composed themes from the movie Top Gun. Flying for the Navy, Maverick and Goose, are the inseparable couple. Maverick, the outlaw pilot, punished for low passing the tower a few times, has a natural instinct for flying on one hand and needs to whitewash his legacy (his old man) on the other hand. Goose loves flying with Maverick and is the RIO (sitting in the back seat in the cockpit). During a training dogfight , Maverick and Goose compete over a chasing and intercepting a SAINT (the supposedly predator aircraft) when the aircraft suffers an engine failure and falls into a flat spin. The engine failure could easily have happened due to Ice's greedy and aggressive behaviour for chasing the SAINT according to his miscalculations for proper distance that made him switch from the missiles to the guns and then fly away from the SAINT. Suffering from the Flat Spin, Maverick pulls the eject handle, Maverick ejects immediately but Goose slams into cockpit and gets killed outright. PS as far as I know, the RIO ejects before the pilot when either one ejects the aircraft ... so the idea of Maverick ejecting the bird before that of Goose seems to be ...well ... bullshit. BTW, .... Awesome dogfight scenes ....

Extreme Ways by Moby - Bourn Identity Supremacy Ultimatum Soundtrack

"Extreme Ways" is a song by American electronica musician Moby. Released on August 19, 2002, it was the second single from his studio album 18. It is also included on disc one of the American release of Go -- The Very Best of Moby. The track is notably used at the conclusion of all three Bourne films; a new version of the song was recorded for use on the closing credits of the third, The Bourne Ultimatum, and released on the film's soundtrack. "Extreme Ways (Bourne's Ultimatum)" was also released as a one-track CD single on September 17, 2007. It samples the drum break from Melvin Bliss's "Synthetic Substitution", one of the most popularly sampled drum breaks in the history of music.[citation needed] It also samples the strings from the beginning of Hugo Winterhalter's cover of "Everybody's Talkin'". The Bourne films are a series of dramatic films based on the character Jason Bourne, a former CIA assassin suffering from extreme memory loss,[1] created by author Robert Ludlum. All three of Ludlum's novels were adapted for the screen, featuring Matt Damon as the titular character in each. Doug Liman directed The Bourne Identity (2002), Paul Greengrass directed The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), and Tony Gilroy co-wrote each film. The series is noted for its realism, in contrast to the growing use of CGI in the action genre.[2]

Homecoming by Zbigniew Preisner. also Pour L'amour d'une Femme.

Pour L'amour d'une Femme ( For Love of a Woman ) composed by Zbignew Preisner. information from Wikipedia: Zbigniew Preisner studied history and philosophy in Kraków. Never having received formal music lessons, he taught himself about music by listening and transcribing parts from records. His compositional style represents a distinctively spare form of tonal neo-Romanticism. Paganini and Jean Sibelius are acknowledged influences. Preisner is best known for the music composed for the films directed by fellow Pole Krzysztof Kieślowski. His Song for the Unification of Europe, based on the Greek text of 1 Corinthians 13, is attributed to a character in Kieślowski's Three Colors: Blue and plays a dominating role in the story. His music for Three Colors: Red includes a setting of Polish and French versions of a poem by Wisława Szymborska, a Polish Nobel Prize-winning poet. After working with Kieślowski on Three Colors: Blue, Preisner was hired by the producer Francis Ford Coppola to write the score for The Secret Garden, directed by Polish director Agnieszka Holland. Although Preisner is most closely associated with Kieślowski, he has collaborated with several other directors, winning a César in 1996 for his work on Jean Becker's Élisa. He has won a number of other awards, including another César in 1994 for Three Colors: Red, and the Silver Bear from the 1997 Berlin Film Festival 1997 for The Island on Bird Street. The Fountainhead - 1949 - Court Speech : I am an Architect.

The Fountainhead is a 1949 American film directed by King Vidor, based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ayn Rand, who wrote the screenplay adaptation. The film and novel focus on Howard Roark, is an individualistic young architect who chooses to struggle in obscurity rather than compromise his artistic and personal vision, following his battle to practice what the public sees as modern architecture, which he believes to be superior, despite an establishment centered on tradition-worship. The complex relationships between Roark and the various kinds of individuals who assist or hinder his progress, or both, allow the film to be at once a romantic drama and a philosophical work. Roark is Rand's embodiment of the human spirit, and his struggle represents the triumph of individualism over collectivism. The film stars Gary Cooper as Roark, Patricia Neal as Dominique Francon, Raymond Massey as Gail Wynand, Robert Douglas as Ellsworth Toohey and Kent Smith as Peter Keating. Although Rand's screenplay was used with minimal alterations, Rand criticized the film for elements such as editing, production design and acting. While it was initially panned by critics and lost money at the box office, the film spurred public interest in the novel, increasing its sales, and has been reappraised by contemporary critics, who deemed it to be one of King Vidor's best films. Theme From Midnight Express 1978

Midnight Express is a 1978 American film directed by Alan Parker. It is based on Billy Hayes' book, also titled Midnight Express, that was adapted into the screenplay by Oliver Stone. Hayes was a young American student sent to a Turkish prison for trying to smuggle hashish out of Turkey. The movie deviates from the book's accounts of the story, especially in its portrayal of Turks, and some have criticized the movie version, including Billy Hayes himself. Plot from Wikipedia: On October 6, 1970, after a stay in Istanbul, a US citizen named Billy Hayes is arrested by Turkish police, on high alert due to fear of terrorist attacks, as he is about to fly out of the country with his girlfriend. After being found with several bricks of hashish taped to his body -- about two kilograms in total -- he is arrested. After a while, a shadowy American arrives. He translates for Billy. The police ask where Billy bought the hash. Billy tells them that he bought it from a cab driver and offers to help the police track him down in exchange for his release. He goes with the police to a local market and points the cab driver out but while the police go to arrest the cabbie, Billy makes a run for it. He gets cornered in a building and is recaptured by the mysterious American. Billy is sentenced to four years and two months' imprisonment on the charge of drug possession. He is sent to Sağmalcılar prison (closed in 2008) to serve out his sentence. In the remand centre, he meets and befriends ...

Master and Margarita Soundtrack.

The Master and Margarita (Russian: Ма́стер и Маргари́та) is a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov, woven around the premise of a visit by the Devil to the fervently atheistic Soviet Union. Many critics consider the book to be one of the greatest novels of the 20th century, and one of the foremost Soviet satires, directed against a suffocatingly bureaucratic social order. Bulgakov started writing the novel in 1928. He burnt the first manuscript of the novel in 1930, seeing no future as a writer in the Soviet Union.[2] The work was restarted in 1931. In 1935 Bulgakov went to Spaso House, the residence of US Ambassador to the Soviet Union William Bullitt, which was transformed by Bulgakov into the ball of the novel.[3] The second draft was completed in 1936 by which point all the major plot lines of the final version were in place. The third draft was finished in 1937. Bulgakov continued to polish the work with the aid of his wife, but was forced to stop work on the fourth version four weeks before his death in 1940. A censored version (12% of the text removed and still more changed) of the book was first published in Moscow magazine (no. 11, 1966 and no. 1, 1967).[4] The text of all the omitted and changed parts, with indications of the places of modification, was published on a samizdat basis. In 1967 the publisher Posev (Frankfurt) printed a version produced with the aid of these inserts. Theme from The King's Speech by Alexandre Desplat

The King's Speech is a 2010 British historical drama film directed by Tom Hooper and written by David Seidler. Colin Firth plays King George VI who, to overcome his stammer, sees Lionel Logue, an Australian speech therapist played by Geoffrey Rush. The two men become friends as they work together, and after his brother Edward VIII abdicates, the new king relies on Logue to help him make a radio broadcast on the day that Britain goes to war with Germany at the beginning of World War II. Seidler, who began researching George VI's life after overcoming his own stammer during his youth, wrote about the men's relationship. Nine weeks before filming, Logue's notebooks were discovered and quotations from them were incorporated into the script. Principal photography took place in London and other locations in Britain, in December 2009 and early January 2010. The film was released in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2011. The King's Speech was a major box office and critical success. On a budget of £8 million (roughly $15 million), it grossed over $400 million internationally. It was widely praised by critics for its visual style, art direction, and acting. Other commentators discussed the film's misrepresentation of the historical events it portrays, in particular the reversal of Winston Churchill's opposition to abdication.
