Shatrughan Sinha, actor turned politician was born on December 9, 1945 in Patna, Bihar. He was educated in Patna Science College and is an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India Pune. Shatrughan Sinha's first acting opportunity was playing a Pakistani military officer in Dev Anand's Prem Pujari. Subsequently, he got a small role as a police inspector in Mohan Sehgal's Sajan in 1969. Shatrughan Sinha was one of Bollywood's first stylised villains. After reinventing himself as a hero, he did well in multi-starrers with Amitabh Bachchan, such as Naseeb. Also referred to as the Bihari Babu and Shotgun, he is known for his trademark dialogue delivery. Sinha was selected by Rediff as one of the most unconventional actors in Hindi cinema (the others being Ajay Devgan, Amitabh Bachchan, Irfan Khan, Rajnikant, Shahrukh Khan, and Sunil Shetty).
