Genocide of Kosovo Serbs by Shiptars (Kosovo Albanians)
Book titled Shiptar Genocide of the Serbs in 20th Century, published by Rasko-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija Diocese, is a harrowing testimony about the genocide Shiptars (Kosovo Albanians) have been systematically committing in the entire 20th century, and which continues at present, Rasko-Prizren Diocese Press Department announced. The book, preparation of which took three years, consists of 215 documents from the Rasko-Prizren Diocese Archives which, thankfully, was transferred from the town of Prizren only a day before a devastating March 2004 pogrom. Selected were only those documents which clearly and unequivocally attest the immensity of the crimes committed against Kosovo and Metohija Serbs in the last century, against their spiritual and cultural heritage, and their property. This historical paradox, that one states national minority threatens a majority in its own state, is presented in five sections and corroborated with a number of facsimiles. First part is titled Shiptar crimes against the Serbs up to 1941″, the second part is about destruction of Serbian churches by the Shiptars during the WWII; third part is comprised of testimonies about Shiptar bestiality and obliteration of Serbdom between 1941-1945; part four talks about the next wave of Shiptar and communist regime violence from 1946-1982, while the fifth part offers evidence about the crimes committed against the Serbs in the period of 1983-1988.
