Utah local Alex Scholpy made his runs count today by topping the podium with a 94.50. He started things off by taking the right side line onto the first box with a front 360 switch up transfer, blind 360 switch onto the second box with a blind 270 out, a blind 630 out of the cannon rail with a mute grab, a huge left 900 double Japan on the first jump, capping it off with a fluid switch 1440 to really impress the judges and secure the top spot. Schlopy was thrilled to win on his close-to-home turf, thanking Utah and the local fans for making this "more fun for everyone." And of course, "there's nobody I'd rather have on the podium next to me than Joss."

Another gorgeous day at Snowbasin, UT provided a fast, smooth course for the Dew Tour Slopestyle Championships. Although Bobby Brown came into the day in the lead for the Dew Cup, qualifiers made it clear that this podium was anyone's to grab.

US Open Snowboard Championship Slopestyle Battle 2011 - Willet vs. McMorris Eric Willet and Mark McMorris battle it out in the last runs of the Slopestyle. Nineteen-year-old freeskier Alex Schlopy takes you on a tour through his hometown of Park City, Utah, from the first rail he scoped out in town to the house he grew up in. Fast forward to his banner breakout season, and get his take on winning X Games, then World Championships then Dew Tour and landing his first switch upright 14 in competition. Pro freestyle skier, Bobby Brown, is the only skier to win two gold medals at the same Winter X Games, and he's already working on new tricks. Nick Garner of www.sportstalk4kids.com traveled to the Winter Olympic Training Center in Park City, Utah to catch up with Bobby Brown. Brown won two gold medals at the 2010 X Games and spent some of his summer at the Olympic Park, site of the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Brown's golds came in Ski Slopestyle and Ski Big Air where he landed the Switch Double Misty 1440.
