This is an alternate version of the Slowdive "Alison" video. Here's a message from a Youtube user named rubincockinos, who directed the video: "where in the word did you find this video? I directed it and didn't thin ANYONE else had this. if ya, want the story EMI gave me 1000$ and the original english video, (in PAL) to redo it for the USA. So without access to the Band, I took the original band source footage and re-shot with no $, they wanted a whole new look to the video, with so little $ I relied on effects more then extra footage to make a story it was my first video of 2 i did before got into a different industry. A departure from their previous two albums, Pygmalion incorporated a more experimental sound tilted towards ambient electronic music, with sparse, atmospheric arrangements. All compositions were by Neil Halstead. Lyrics on tracks "Miranda" and "Visions of La" by Rachel Goswell. The cover illustration is by acclaimed designer Steven Woodhouse. It was the final album before Slowdive disbanded in 1995, an event widely associated with the demise of shoegazing.
