Binge Eating Rant, Social Disorder, Haters, Triggers

Most people do not know what they say can have a negative effect on others. The end of this video is very sad for me to confess to. I have had a social disorder where I do not like going out of the house or being around people AT ALL since I was a teenager. The last binge I had was from someone calling me a liar - saying that I wasn't eating raw and yelling at me to stop lying. I wasn't lying - but I wasn't losing weight to prove him wrong. It made me feel like I was wasting my time eating raw so I experimented eating whatever I wanted, which led me to binge eat for two months. I gained 25 pounds until I started again 100% raw with my new diet vlogs. I have an eating disorder that I thought was completely obvious to everyone since I weighed 333 pounds. I am a binge eater. Ok, which brings me to today. I get a comment saying the same EXACT thing that the guy said to me that started my first binge. Why is this happening? I was called by God (very strongly) to do a 40 day water fast last year. Maybe this is yet another calling to finally get healthy and break out of this prison of fat. Why else, when I am in a good place, does this negativity come to me? Is this another test in the same exact form of which I failed two months ago? I will go to great lengths to NOT tell a lie. I do not lie and I am extremely open about all that I do. It is very hurtful for me to be called a liar. I was open to my husband and told him that I was out of control and made him take my credit cards ...

Social CRM can trigger a workflow in a traditional CRM system

"Ninety percent of all queries to customer service departments are just that, queries, not issues or problems," said Paul Greenberg, Managing Principal of The 56 Group and Chairman of the CRM Evolution Conference. The goal is to automate those business processes by tying them to business rules that allow for automation of inquiries, or when necessary -- when one of those 10 percent of issues or problems come up -- integration with the customer service area. While that's all standard and necessary, the hottest area in CRM integration is social, said Greenberg as he played out a possible scenario: A tweet comes into the CRM system. Tied to that tweet is a pull-down menu which gives you the option to open a case or open a lead. Choosing that option triggers a workflow that connects to an appropriate party in the traditional CRM system. In such a scenario you're taking external channels, the social sphere, directly into CRM systems, Greenberg said.

Social Skills for Life: Managing Strong Emotions (excerpt)

Click here to learn more about this film: www.classroomvideo.co.uk Using a fast-paced, entertaining blend of short dramatic situations and animated cartoons, the programme helps students deal with strong emotions. Students see how the brain goes into "reptilian" mode when emotions run high. They learn to identify their own emotional triggers and recognise their unique patterns of responding to those triggers, both physically and emotionally. An ensemble of engaging teens models three distinct styles of reacting in emotionally charged situations: aggressive, passive, and assertive. They demonstrate strategies that can help young people keep their cool when they are in danger of losing it or when someone is losing it with them. Scenario topics include romantic jealousy, a conflict with a co-worker, and peers' reactions to a learning disability.

Social Engineering for the Coming Technofascist World- The NWO

Credit: ONEWORLDSCAM.COM Video Capture By: NAURESISTANCE In yet another attempt to gain public acceptance for the coming technological tyranny, the EU has recently funded the University of Bergen in Norway to create a website that collects people's opinions on three emerging techno-fascist technologies: biometric id, human augmentation, and global tracking systems. The TechnoLife project's website claims that they "will place a number of media objects in different (public) domains and use these as focal points of discussion. The idea here is simply that images and more emotionally laden content may better serve as triggers of debate than standard ethical principles or analysis. We develop a number of tools for that purpose, the most important being a number of short movies. Other possible "triggering objects" may include news stories, images and gadgets such as mobile phone applications." To trigger a negative reaction as the stimulus for a debate, the Technolife project has created movies that deliberately portray the three above-mentioned technologies in a negative light. These shock films are intended to invoke a negative reaction in the viewer who would then presumably log into the TechnoLife website and post their concerns. And what will the TechnoLife project do with these concerns: "The outcomes of the deliberative phase, involving a number of different concerned groups will be presented to EU policy makers" with the objective to "Develop methods to represent ...

Ping.fm

In this video, i talk about Ping.FM and the power of updating multiple social networks from one location. I demonstrate how to use the iPhone interface and talk about most of the different features that are available to you. Ping.fm also allows you to create custom triggers. These triggers can be used to divert updates to a specific social network. For example, if you create a custom trigger for Facebook called #fb, if you preceed your message with #fb, it will only update that partcular service. Ping.fm supports many different mechanisms for update. These include SMS, WAP, iPhone, IM, and web. If you would like to try ping.fm, use the invite code "landofping" to sign up. Enjoy!

Shopping While Black - Social Experiment

This experiment turns into a pretty emotional one. While some people are unaffected by the discrimination they observe, others are completely offended on behalf of the victim. One man who objects to her treatment can relate because of his own experiences, but other people (two different white women) seem completely offended by the idea that anyone would be treated in such a way. Consider (though we haven't talked about this year) what is it about some people that makes them step forward on behalf of a stranger? Some people are content to witness something in their surroundings but are somewhat unaffected by it, while others are compelled to act. What is the motivating factor? Could it have anything to do with each person's place in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, maybe? The stronger ones who are higher in the chart, closer to self-actualization, may feel more comfortable stepping forward while others, less secure in themselves and their level of needs, stand back? If the basis for Maslow's needs is that people act to remove deficiencies or continually move up in the levels, what's the motivating factor when the person themselves are not in danger? Ie: If you want to move to step three (social needs) and therefore have attained safety / security, would you feel threatened personally if someone near you were in (a type of ) danger like this woman? Or maybe they're at the fourth level (esteem needs) and taking responsibility of their surroundings. You may notice, as well, the ...
