Goldfrapp - Deer Stop [Live at Somerset House]

Such a strange song, so particular and deliciously trippy. I'm confused with the lyrics I found, those are an example: And I long to go Love started. Here Shoot your star Be a light Is that Don't you call Deer stop bottle in a shell Shoot a thousand stars over me Love to come home You've arrested a knight Say my name, Whisper it Don't ever turn I'm deliciously wired I'm falling in a cloud Shoot a thousand stars over Say my name Whisper it Originally included on Felt Mountain album and performed on Wonderful Electric: Live in London DVD. Label: Mute Records Ltd. Country: UK Released: Sep 2004 Genre: Electronic Style: Leftfield, Electro, Downtempo

Joanna Newsom at Somerset House (Unreleased song)

Joanna Newsom performing a new, untitled song at Somerset House on 20th July 2008. Before playing this song she commented that "it's not like people can put recordings of this song and place them in some sort of metaphysical forum for other people to see and comment on..."; so I thought she was giving me permission to record it on my phone. Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick, Joanna. Apologies for the shoddy quality of the footage, it's an old phone now, although since it was just Joanna and a piano - and the audience was completely silent throughout - the recording is pretty clear. Apart from when Frankie makes an inappropriate comment in the middle. Tsk tsk.
