Sonny Landreth - the best video of him on Youtube

One of the greatest guitarists today. On his latest album the Louisiana-based slide guitar wizard does something unprecedented in his body of work, as he collaborates with five of the greatest guitar players on the planet -- Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Robben Ford, Eric Johnson and Vince Gill -- for some jaw-dropping performances. Also making a house call is legendary New Orleans pianist and singer Dr. John and iconic Gulf Coast troubadour Jimmy Buffett. amazing.

Sonny Moore "Skrillex" - Mora (Official Music Video)

Music video from EP "Gypsyhook" by Skrillex (Sonny Moore). LIKE IF YOU HAVE FUN! Lyric: Take a step off of that silver bird from your planet And you brought a little bit of that cold with you Now ring me out like you would your bastarding father And you're so quick to stick to that scum Hungry like a piranha Swallow a little of that sea Now taste a little bit of that salt in me Throw up a little of it on your knees Now doesn't that bring you back to the beginning Before you poured your elements away Now sink back to the bottom of it all Seal your lips with the black stitch of a secret Parade with that speechless dryness of the desert Lay flat under the lime light you feed off all the fiction Cold callus and boiled between the bleak deep of your dirty hands Kiss your son, now kiss your bible You know I never wanted to see your face Oh I just won't believe it Swallow a little of that sea Now taste a little bit of that salt in me Throw up a little of it on your knees Now doesn't that bring you back to the beginning Before you poured your elements away Now sink back to the bottom of it all You're sinking, you're sinking Swallow a little of that sea Now taste a little bit of that salt in me Throw up a little of it on your knees Now doesn't that bring you back to the beginning Before you poured your elements away Now sink back to the bottom of it all Before you poured your elements away Now sink back to the bottom of it all All rights to owners!!

Sonny Rollins - Strode Rode

Well, I got Windows Movie Maker working again, so I can finally start uploading videos again. I figured I'd start with some tracks from an album that I recently came acquisition of (and realized that I should have requested months ago). Namely, Sonny Rollins' Saxophone Colossus. This is probably my favorite track on the album next to Blue 7, (which will also be up soon), and I hope you enjoy it as well. PS If you enjoy the track, please rate/comment

Sonny Liston

Sonny Liston one of the Greatest of All time 54-4, 39KO While at the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City, he started boxing. On Oct. 30, 1952, he was released on parole and he turned professional the following September. His first pro fight lasted 33 seconds: Liston leveled Don Smith with his first punch. Liston was a marked man in St. Louis, where police were known to stop him on sight, sometimes without cause. On May 5, 1956, he erupted. When a cop confronted him and a friend about a cab parked near Liston's home, he assaulted the officer, breaking his knee and gashing his face, and took his gun. Liston received nine months in the city workhouse. After his release, Liston had another altercation with a cop -- this time he left an officer headfirst in a trash can. A police sergeant put out the word that Liston should leave town or else.
