You could not really tell who was the main act of the evening was since both Fink and The Boxer Rebellion were unique and amazing in their own way and equally anticipated. Revolution - Gameplay
Part of my Obscure First Person Shooters series: www.youtube.com Gameplay footage from Revolution. Actual gameplay begins at 4:06. I apologize for loading a saved game in media res, but the first four or so hours offered virtually nothing of interest to record. Just to give context to this point in the story: You play as Jack Plummer, a guy who takes a maintenance job for a giant corporation called the Corporation. It turns out this is some sort of evil totalitarian entity, so Jack decides to start helping a resistance group known as the Resistance. But, in a shocking and convoluted turn of events, it turns out the Corporation has been monitoring Jack's actions all along as part of the selection for their New Breed program. So, Jack becomes some glowing manbeast and starts performing assignments for the Corporation. I imagine something happens afterward, but I gave up playing at about here.

And here, Victreebel gets its chance to shine. Sort of. It's interesting that Swampert chose to use Surf instead of Ice Beam. The recorder also decided to lag more and more as the battle went on. I apologize for that. I used Rampardos, Manectric, and Victreebel. My opponent used Charizard, Venusaur, and Swampert.

And finally, uploaded nearly 21 hours later than when I actually had this battle, I FINALLY come across a trademark Japnese quirky team! Yes, they're teams likethis that inspired me to bring this sort of Pokémon play across the Pacific. This is for all the Swalot fans out there...though I'm not sure what the fourth move is. But Swalot is a great defensive player made even more potent through Stockpile, and I would've surely lost were it not for an awfully lucky bit. I used Steelix, Rampardos, and Manectric. My opponent used Flareon, Masquerain, and Swalot.

A day late, but thankfully none of my subscribers are anal about that sort of thing yet. I now have my team half done, but the wonders of my new XBox360 have slowed things down some more. However, I have every intent of finishing another Pokemon between today and tomorrow, making a team of 4. Hence, even if I have to show a crappy battle of me getting my ass handed to me, I will have up my first Wi-Fi battle on Halloween, unless something happens like someone dies or my power goes out. Right from the start, I immediately figured out what sort of team this is. There are two things a Rain Dance team just cannot stand: Changing to any other weather condition, and Water Pokémon. Golduck happens to be both and became a huge obstacle to the way my opponent's team functions. And in case you forget, Golduck's Ability is Cloud Nine. It neutralizes the effects of Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Hail, and Sandstorm. I believe Fog is also affected, though I can't accurately test it out. The weather still remains onscreen...it just doesn't do anything anymore. This is why Kyogre's Thunder missed and why Parasect wasn't regaining HP from Dry Skin until Golduck left. Apparently, even Kyogre's bodacious 140 base Special Defense is no match for Celebi's Energy Balls... I used Celebi, Golduck, Mawile, and Sableye (unseen). My opponent used Kyogre, Omastar, Parasect, and Gyarados. Coincidentally, all of the opponent's Pokémon used in this match have the same Japanese and English names.
