This is a summary of the components, and then a build-from-scratch tutorial for the Dark Spire. Just a warning, since I recorded myself building it for the first time, I make some mistakes, but I try to tell you about them whenever possible. If there's anything I forgot, just ask. ---------- FAQ 1) How many "layers" is the Upper Pyramid? The Upper Pyramid is 9 Layers. Most of these are 2 blocks tall, but in mine, the very top layer is only 1 block tall because I built too close to the top of the map. if you built a little further down than I did, this shouldn't be a problem. 2) How many "layers" is the Inverted Pyramid? It is 17 layers. But while we're on the subject, I really just eyeballed it (Same with the Upper Pyramid). I'm not a fan of numbers. 3) Would it be possible to eliminate the cacti if you expanded the Inverted Pyramid? Yes and no. Monsters wouldn't fall over the edge, but the water from the Upper Flow Ramp wouldn't reach the edge. It's a catch-22. However, a resource-heavy alternative would be to build a wall straight up from the edge of the Inverted Pyramid. Make sure to give it a 2-block width so it doesn't clog with spiders. 4) How do you prevent the redstone from being destroyed by the falling water? There's actually a roof over the redstone, which causes a small section of Inverted Pyramid to remain untouched by water. I haven't noticed any side-effects of this system, other that operating roughly 1% less efficiently. 5) Don't Endermen teleport when ...
