Un producto con un SPF de 2 bloquea solo alrededor del 50 % de los rayos UVB; un producto con un SPF de 10 filtra alrededor de 85%, un producto con un SPF de 15 impide el paso d alrededor del 95% y un producto con un SPF de 30 a 50 de tiene alrededor del 97%.Por lo tanto aunq el SPF q venga indicado en la etiqueta de su filtro solar sea tan elevado como 50,el producto sigue teniendo sus limitaciones.
