Pewnego pięknego lipcowego dnia w 2004 naszym oczom ukazał się ten oto widok. Płonęła hurtownia motoryzacyjna Stachura. Przyczyną pożaru było zwarcie instalacji elektrycznej, Pierwsze zapaliły się plastikowe zderzaki samochodowe potem ogień dosięgnął 10 tysięcy opon i potężne zapasy części, olejów i lakierów samochodowych. Wiadomo, że żaden z członków 60-osobowej popołudniowej zmiany nie znajdował się na terenie firmy. Na miejscu było ponad 200 strażaków. Przybyły między innymi cysterny z Nowego Sącza, Oświęcimia i Andrychowa. Ogień przeniósł się na parterowy budynek po drugiej stronie ulicy, mieszczący m.in. skład oleju. Sytuacja była bardzo poważna, gdyż na końcu budynku znajduje się stacja benzynowa. Ogień ugaszono po kilkunastu godzinach. Voise Christoph,Friedrich Rückert - "Nun seh' ich wohl, warum so dunkle Flammen" - Dariusz Stachura-tenor.......Dariusz Stachura is a graduate of the Łódź Film Academy. In 1989 he debiuted on the stage at Teatr Wielki in Łódź playing Lenski in Tschaikovsky's Eugenius Onieginie. A year later he won a an award at the Ada Sari vocal contest. In 1992 he won a special award from Łódź critics for excellent performance at Teatr Wielki. Since then he has participated in many foreign and domestic competitions taking him to Austria, france, Holland, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, China, South Africa and the USA. He has perfomed tenor roles in Stabat Mater, Rossini's Small Celebratory Mass, Verdi's Requiem, Mozart's Coronation Mass and Requiem, Dvořák's Stabat Mater, Penderecki's Te Deum, Wiłkomuirski's Celebratory Mass, and Mendelssohn's Symphony number 2 in concert halls throughout Europe. One of his greatest successes was his taking part in the 100th anniversary of the debut of Puccini's La bohème in 1996 in Turin. He was the only non-Italian to win a role, and shared duties playing Rudolph with none other than Luciano Pavarotti. He is currently a soloist at the Teatr Wielki in Łódź.
