It's not the first time a "B-side" like "Love Letters" became the hit side, but it was very fortuitous for Ketty since she would never have another recording with the impact of this one. Ketty's "Love Letters" is a reworking of the 1945 hit by Dick Haymes, and it went all the way to #5 in March of 1962.

The Scribble & Write by Leap Frog is a great educational tool to assist young preschool and elementary school age children in writing upper and lowercase letters of the alphabet. Whats great about this toy is that there is a drawing tool to help children over the age of 3 who are not developmentally ready to write letters, with imitating all the prewriting shapes that are a prerequisite for handwriting such as a vertical line, horizontal line, circle, diagonals, squares and triangles. Children learn to write the letters of the alphabet in Kindergarten. Make sure to discuss with your childs teacher whether the schools handwriting curriculum begins with upper or lowercase letters. Developmentally it is easier to complete the uppercase letters first before lowercase letters. Make sure to start with easier letters like L, P, B that incorporate the straight line letters and leave Z, X, Y for the last ones as they include diagonals and are more challenging to imitate. A nice stylus attaches in the back that is thick and easy for small hands to hold. Make sure to encourage your child to watch the formation and listen to the directions before completing it to learn good formation habits. Encourage top to bottom letter formation. Consider holding the toy up in the air, so that it is in a vertical plane as this is also helpful to enhance grasp development.

If you are in the process of making a beautiful nursery for your kid, this video is a must watch. Encourage your child to be creative and hone his imagination and learning skills. This instructive video shows Maura Garrity, Painting Stylist for Pottery Barn Kids, demonstrate how to create a numbers-and-letters design on the walls of your child's nursery. Maura starts by collecting tools to make a simple design consisting of three numbers and three letters. She says that it is a good idea to play with different fonts and refer to it while drawing them. She selects a white wall and tapes a square shape with blue tape. With the help of a level and a pencil, she draws the letters and numbers inside the border. Different sized blue tapes help fill in the numbers and letters depending on its width. Maura chooses a tape that fits each letter or number and starts taping each letter. She then cuts a round shape as the pencil line is visible through the tape.
