I had true dual flowmasters before this and they were just too quiet. Now it is real loud and less drone then the flowmasters. This time I recorded some really nice Nissan GT-R's. They all participated in the event called Gran Turismo Zandvoort. The first Nissan GT-R is new 2011 model. The GT-R from TotalCarConcept (Totalcarconcept.com) is a Switzer P800 that has an astonishing 840bhp! You can hear the dump valve at the beginning of the video. In the first part you can see the cars arriving at the circuit. Furthermore you can see some really nice accelerations on the circuit aswell. Today I went to an event that was organised by Ferrari-chat.nu. Some great cars showed up like this Lamborghini Gallardo, fitted with straight pipes! At this event there were two Gallardo's participating. An orange one without any aftermarket exhausts (the Gallardo where I was sitting in) and the straight-piped black Gallardo. After the owner started up the engine and began to rev the engine, I almost couldn't hear anymore, the sound is just so brutal!! I really like the sound the engine produces now it has been decatted! We went to the German Autobahn with these Lamborghini's, some Ferrari''s and a Nissan GT-R. Here we could open the gas wide open and make the engine really come alive!! My 77 Ford 4" lift with 35 BFG KM2's With a 400 under the hood. Just took off my glasspacks and now its true dual straight pipe. Going to put turndown tips on it next week. Since the dyno-cell is not finished, we ran all of these tests one after the other on a Mustang Dyno. With JUST the custom straight-pipe exhaust, the car put down 422RWHP which is corrected to 447.03 RWHP! That's approximately 37RWHP +/- from just the exhaust. Then, the custom intake was installed. Now, keep in mind, NONE of the tuning has been done, nor have the heat shields been put in place (so the car was running about 15° over what it did with the stock airboxes) but it still picked up an extra (Mustang) 13RWHP. It did 435RWHP which corrects to 461RWHP. Once tuning is done and everything is dialed in, there's a real shot at 490-500RWHP and it sounds amazing! I always like the way my old truck sounded straight piped ('99 1500 w/5.3) so I decided to give it a try with this truck. (2001 2500HD w/8.1) Exhaust is cut off behind the converters then has a 3" X pipe before going into 2.5" tailpipes with 3.5x18" stainless echo tips. No muffler. Love that big block rumble!
