Mario Bros Power-up Nail Art

❤www.cupcakenailart.com❤ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Nail FAQ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ♥ I use acrylic paints because its waaaaay easier to draw with than nail polish. Not to mention if you do nails as much as I do it's a lot cheaper. ♥ I always use nail polish as the base color and then do the art with paints. ♥ No. They will not stain your nails and it comes off with nail polish remover. ♥ My favorite brand of paint is Americana and you can see them at the end of my videos. ♥ Why haven't you done my request? I have loads of requests and I bought a book just to keep them all in. If I went in order the requests are behind by a few months lol. Super Mario Galaxy 2: Bowser's Big Lava Power Party

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 2 - Bowser's Lava Lair Galaxy - Bowser's Big Lava Power Party (post commentary with special guest octaneblue) I really enjoyed playing this level, and actually didn't mind that I had to play it a second time! The level itself is long but very fun, and they are very generous with the Life Mushrooms which certainly come in handy. We also get to see a few old familiar enemies for the first time, the Whomps & Hammer Bros! Very fun stuff! Be sure to use a spin jump or wall jump off the second Whomp to grab your Comet Medal before smashing him to bits. On your way to Bowser you get to practice ground pounding on goldish meteors which will be your primary attack in the boss fight. This is one of my favorite Bowser fights so far of the Galaxy series. Jon was kind enough to join me in the commentary, be sure to check out his channel! www.youtube.com Due to issues with my original recording files, this video is a replay of the original mission. ~~Boss: Bowser~~ During the first portion of the battle with Bowser he'll use two attacks. One involves a shower of meteors which you can simply run to avoid. The highlighted areas on the sphere show where the meteors will land. If you see a large area highlighted, it means Bowser is about to use his alternate attack: A fist pound. You can just run from this as well. The fist-pound has a secondary effect, however. The meteors scattered around will be raised aloft, primed for a ground-pound from Mario. Jump to a ...

Top Ten Powerups of Super Mario

Here are the top ten powerups of the Super Mario Series. This list is based on a combination of fan favorites, how it went with the game design, impact it gave the series and game, my favorites, and gameplay. Did your favorite powerups make the list? What is your favorite powerup, is it the Frog Suit? Or is it the Spring from Super Mario Galaxy? There are a lot of powerups and it was hard to make the list, but I did and hope you like it! :D

Super Mario World 96 Exit Walkthrough Part 1 - Yoshi's Island

First and foremost thanks to my good buddy Phil for giving me this game for my SNES, check out his channel: www.youtube.com Here we complete the first 6 levels of Super Mario World Yoshi's Island 1 (First appearance of Piranah Plant, Purple Dino's, Koopas, and Chargin' Chuck) Yellow Switch Palace (Unlocks Yellow Blocks, these blocks always give Mushrooms when hit, regardless of current power up) Yoshi's Island 2 (First appearance of Yoshi, if Yoshi eats a Red Koopa Shell he'll spit out a fireball when he spits it out, if he eats a Blue Shell, he can fly until he swallows it or until it's spit out, if he eats a Green Shell he'll just spit out a shell, nothing special happens, if he eats a Yellow Shell BEFORE a Koopa jumps in it and chases him he'll be able to ground pound, but if he eats it AFTER a Koopa jumps in it and it's flashing he'll be able to fly, ground pound, and when he spits out the shell it will be a fireball.) Yoshi's Island 3 (First appearance of flying Koopas and the moving platforms) Yoshi's Island 4 (First appearance of Spikeballs, Cheep Cheeps, and Pokeys) And Castle #1 (First boss, Iggy Koopa, first Potabo, first nets and Wall Koopas.) Iggy Koopa - To defeat Iggy jump on him/shoot fire balls at him in the direction the platform is tilting to knock him into the lava. Just jump over the balls he throws at you if he lasts that long, and repeat until he's dead.

Super Mario Galaxy - Red Power Star (Gateway's Purple Coins)

In addition to the Green Stars, there is a red one too. When I recovered a certain Grand Star, It activated lines-- one over to that gate (which so happens to be where the game started). It unfolds from there A Red Luma you talk to doesn't trust you. So it wants you to use a Red Star to fly around and collect 100 Purple Coins. Seems pretty simple... until you try it. Flying Mario is awesome. Not only can you fly around freely (well somewhat), but when you spin, you draw nearby coins and Starbits to Mario. Just a shame the use of this power up is so very limited.

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Spring into the Chompworks

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 4 - Chompworks Galaxy - Spring into the Chompworks (with post commentary) In this video we head back to the Chompsworks Galaxy where we get our first taste of the Spring Mushroom. The Spring Mushroom allows you to jump extremely high at the expense of precise control over Mario. Spring Mario constantly moves and you'll have to use this momentum to your advantage. To jump in a given direction, make sure you are already moving in that direction first since you won't be able to control Mario in the air. Grab the Spring Mushroom and hop up the ramp to the launch star. You'll have to jump over the oncoming Chomps in the next area. You can jump fairly early and still clear them. After the big Chomps you'll come to a row of smaller Chomps that are easier to clear. Take the launch star to the next area. Spring-jump up the platforms and remember to push towards your goal well in advance of jumping. You can pick up some coins and even a 1-Up on the way up to the Power Star. Make sure you immediately jump as soon as you touch down on the turning bolts or you will almost certainly plummet far below. I'm not a fan of this power-up and therefore not a big fan of this mission, however I didn't mind leaving with 500+ star bits. :-) More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario 64 DS 150 star run tricks volume 3 Speed routes on Jolly R, Tox box switch and 3 Bowsers

I'M NOT PLANNING TO MAKE AN 150 STAR SPEEDRUN YET, UNTIL I HAVE DS CAPTURE DEVICE, I WILL DO. I'M Just making some tricks/strat videos on this more complex 150 star run. If a speed runner is going to a 150 star run they need to know the routes on the multi star tasks (Mainly the 100 coin stars and the new boss battle courses too). I thought it would be good to have 5 strats instead of 3 in this volume. Shifting Sand Land: Toy Box Swtich star, This star can only be obtained when Wario is unlocked, Luigi would be the fastest character to get the stars in the basement (Lethal Lava, Shifting Sand, Hazy Maze and Dire Dire docks). This should be the strat when Wario is unlocked and you get Luigi to collect the remaining Basement stars. Wario is also needed on oen of the Dire Dire Docks stars too. I think there is a cap nearby the switch but if not then I would need Wario unlocked, get the Dire Dire Docks Switch star and Save warp to get 2 more stars from the secret moat (outside the castle entrance). Jolly Roger Bay 100 coin route: This route can be improved by a bit but again you will need Wario to get all of the 7 stars, fortunately his hat is inside the cave (so really Luigi just need to swim there, get the cap and get the flower power to get the star). But anyway the coin route itself can be improved, the blue coins is a must for the run the Red coins on the Ship SHOULD BE IGNORED and be replaced by 2 of the many yellow coins underwater. 3 Bowser courses (each one has a 8 ...

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Hot-Stepping Dash Pepper

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 2 - Hightail Falls Galaxy - Hot-Stepping Dash Pepper (with post commentary) In this mission we see the Dash Pepper Yoshi Power-Up for the first time. This was really challenging for me and it took me several tries (and deaths) to get the hang of it. He moves very fast and is a little hard to control, but once you get the hang of it, it can actually be pretty fun. In the last part of the mission you'll need to grab the Comet Medal that's tucked away in the corner. If you hit the wall you can float back down with Yoshi and grab the pepper again. I think after "sleeping on it" (heh) and a lot of playtime and practice, I'm warming up to this power-up a bit more. I'd really love to use it on a safer level though... where I can't fall off the edge and die so easily. :-) More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Sorbetti's Chilly Reception

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 3 - Freezy Flake Galaxy - Sorbetti's Chilly Reception (with post commentary) In this video we head back to the Freezy Flake Galaxy but instead of getting the Fire Flower, this time we get the Rock Mushroom! This is really a fun way to mix up the level a bit and to enjoy this fun new Power-Up. Once you get to the large main area, you'll want to use rock Mario to break down the snow sculptures to reveal the hidden star chips. Once you collect all 5 you'll move on to the next area which is in the middle of a giant blizzard. Make your way through and you'll eventually reach your launch star leading to the boss. Don't forget to pick up your Life Mushroom before heading out! ~~Boss: Sorbetti~~ Sorbetti is a colossal, rolling snowball. The red spot, its "nose," is its only weak point. You need to spin into this weak point to damage the beast. Let it roll towards you as you run away, waiting for the red spot to line up just right for your spin attack. After two hits, Sorbetti will roll fast enough to preclude you from outrunning it. Try to run in from the side to score the final hit. More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario World Changes GBA SNES Virtual Console

☆ Starship Mario (Full Theme) ~ Super Mario Galaxy 2 Soundtrack

☆ Starship Mario is a Mario-head-shaped planet and space craft in Super Mario Galaxy 2 used to travel across the universe. Although notably smaller than the previous games' hub areas, it serves as the hub of the game and has, more or less, replaced the Comet Observatory from the first game. Other than its smaller size, another difference from the Observatory is that it also has changing backgrounds, the appearance of which depend on the world that it is currently in. A flock of seagulls can be seen on and around Starship Mario in the first two worlds. While on the ship, Mario is able to explore and interact with various non-playable characters, including Lubba and the Co-Star Luma. Some other characters in the game appear after certain Stars are collected or a specific goal is met. Much like Delfino Plaza from Super Mario Sunshine, Mario can ride Yoshi here. The egg which contains him is located on the 'nose' of the ship, after rescuing Yoshi in Yoshi Star Galaxy. There is also a room under the area with the pressure switch which can only be accessed by jumping into a large chimney which leads into the room, or by going through a secret door in the bill of the ship's 'cap'. The room contains a large ball of light similar to the beacon in the Comet Observatory, a telescope and some books. There are also several platforms at the edge of the room which can become display cases. Various power-ups, such as the Fire Flower and Rock Mushroom, begin to appear on display after ...

Donut Ghost House (Secret Exit) - (See Donut Ghost House (Normal Exit)) To get the secret exit just run towards the wall near the entrance and fly (need cape) and you'll appear on the ceiling, once on the ceiling run to the right and exit through the door. Super Mario Galaxy 2: Climbing the Cloudy Tower

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 4 - Starshine Beach Galaxy - Climbing the Cloudy Tower (with post commentary) In this video we head back to Starshine Beach to get out next star. Only Cloud Mario can scale the small tower that this star rests upon. To make the Cloud Flower appear, you'll need to get to the top of the tall mushroom-shaped structure in the large pool of water. To get to the top of this, jump into the pool and look for a tube you can swim through that leads straight up through the center of the structure. Hit the button up here to make the Cloud Flower appear. You can hop into a bubble fired by the now-activated bubble cannon to quickly ride over to the Cloud Flower. Since the Cloud Flower's power is sapped by contact with water, you can use the floating green leaves around the Cloud Flower to safely get you to the tower. Run in a direction you want the leaf to move and it will keep you high and dry on your trip to the tower. More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 4 - Starshine Beach Galaxy - Surf, Sand, and Silver Stars (with post commentary) In this mission we head to Starshine Beach to collect some Silver Stars. We get the help of Yoshi, and a few Yoshi power-ups as well. As long as you thoroughly explore the level you should have no problems finding the silver stars and the power-up needed to get to them. Just don't forget to keep a look out for a dark tunnel that you can swim down into. The Comet Medal can be found here between two Gringills. Here is a quick guide for finding the Silver Stars: 1: Cage at the top of a ramp at the start of the level. Use a Spiny to break it open. 2: Top of Pianta statue. Use the flower pegs and flutter jump. 3: Surface of the water near a large structure in the middle of the level. Use the Dash Pepper to get there quickly. 4: Above the large floating buoy-like object. Stand on it to rotate and then bounce and flutter jump on the top. 5: Top of the large tower. Use a Spiny to break open the cage with the Blimp Fruit, and then float up to the top. This was a fun level to explore and play around in, and relatively safe too. My only complaint of course is the Piantas, they should really stick to Sunshine where they belong! ;-) More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario Galaxy 2: The Chimp's Stomp Challenge

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 1 - Fluffy Bluff Galaxy - The Chimp's Stomp Challenge (with post commentary) At the end of the previous mission we got a letter from The Chimp challenging us to beat his high score of 10000 points in the 'stomp the enemies' game. To do this we first need to head back to Fluffy Bluff Galaxy where a new star has appeared. You'll have 120 seconds to get the 10000 points and the easiest way to do this is by chain jumping on enemies. After the third hit you'll continue to get 300 points for every enemy until you touch the ground, and these points add up pretty fast. Coins will also give you 100 points, and the 1-Up in the tree will give you 1000. Reach the goal before time is up and you'll get your star, and complete the Fluffy Bluff Galaxy! Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 3 - Haunty Halls Galaxy - Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor (with post commentary) In this mission we head back to Haunty Halls and this time you have the option to play as Luigi. Same as before, make your way through the moving platforms and ghosts, and hang a right to visit the 1-Up area. After reading a suspicious sign, a Big Boo and his buddies show up and begin chasing you. In true tradition you can turn and face them and they'll stop in their tracks, but the moment you turn your back they'll start after you again. Hurry and take the launch star to the next area and make your way through the floor eating dry bones. Long jump your way to the end and snag your power star before Big Boo gets you! New Super Mario Bros. Wii - 100% G: Half-Maze, Half-Grazed

Time to make my move on Roy's Castle. Unfortunately, I get caught by the Spiny's on the World Map. So let me know if you enjoy what you see here by leaving a comment, or just a quick rating and I'd say thanks a lot. That 6-spot dotted-area will randomly place the 2 critters underground, and every time you move around there, they will move as well. If you are caught, face their challenge for Toad! The castle almost had me going with not only the auto-scrolling, but the classical 3-Way-Maze progression which was in either SMB1 first, or in SMB2 (as in the Lost Levels). You need to pick the right path or it loops. Unlike the old games; if you pick the wrong path, you don't have to start all over again from the beginning, just the last path you got right. Magikoopa decides to spice up the battle by adding Giant Pipes for Roy to use. He hops in and tries to land on top of you. This was actually a nice touch. Mario will look at which pipes he comes out of if you can move fast enough. Just watch out since he carries that stunning quake when he lands. This finishes Word 2, sweet! World 3 is the Ice land. I thought it would come later but nah, they don't dare make you wait to try out the Penguin Suit. You will quickly grow to like this Power-Up, for you will be traveling on a lot of ice in this world. Think of a combination of the Ice Flower + Frog Suit, then remove the on-land limited movement, add a belly sliding ability and there you go.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii -100% #30: Bowser's Castle

World 8: Bowser's Castle. This is it, get your jumping boots ready for the final stage. Yes a Starman here is pretty useless but whatever. You shouldn't really have trouble with the Star Coins in this stage because they are all in plain view. Just don't go overboard it the skull platforms, because there is one part where you need to jump on top of one of them to move forward. If you ask me, they made this stage way too short. I mean seriously, good luck running out of time here. But yeah, once you reach Bowser's Door, there is a Flag and a hidden box containing a Fire Flower to the right of the door. Bowser will start off by sending some potshots your way. Jump or duck past the large orbs of fire and confront the head honcho himself. In a classic fashion, he will attack while guarding that "!" switch behind him. If you want to run past Bowser, you have to time your running just perfectly to get past him. He will push you away while dealing damage just so that you can't take the cheap way out. You must get completely around him. You other option is to blast him with Fire Balls. Note that you must land 30 hits on him to take him out. Hit the "!" switch to drop the bridge and your done... yeah right. Kamek, of all things, was faking you out the whole time just so he can cast his magic again. And what does he do? Make Bowser friggin' massive. It's nothing like in Yoshi's Island, but he does act the part. This Bowser will switch between shooting fireballs and hand-smashing ...

Just before the stone cylinder with the Wigglers you'll find yourself on a tiny, green planet. Run around and you'll see flowers spring up under your feet. Cover the entire planet in flowers and a vine will sprout up to the hidden Power Star! TIP: Follow one of the Koopas closely and then jump on its shell. After the seventh bounce you get a 1-Up. Super Mario World 96 Exit Walkthrough Part 5 - Vanilla Dome (1)

Here we complete the levels Before I post any actual decriptions of the levels, I'd like to point out that Vanilla dome isn't the most innovative with the levels/enemies, so if the descriptions are a bit lacking I apologize, there's just not much to say! Vanilla Done 1 (secret exit) My Way: To get the secret exit the way I did it you will need a Yoshi and the red switches must not be on. Simply use Yoshi to get a boosted jump to hit the yellow block where the red switch outlines are to make a vine appear, then use Yoshi to get a boosted jump and land on the block and climb the vine! Official Way: Ignore the block and beat this level with the normal exit, then beat Vanilla Dome 2's secret exit (explained how to further down) and hit the red switch, then go back to the level and climb up the red switch blocks to hit the block and use the vine! Vanilla Dome 1 (Normal exit) Only advice I can give for this is to not try and grab the Koopa when doing the invincibility run, it could cause your death. Vanilla Dome 2 (Normal Exit) Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this may be our first encounter with the "spin block" I'm not exactly sure what it's called. It's got all four power ups spinning in it in a roulette like fashion, to get the power up you want, hit the predecessor power up in the box, for example: The order is Mushroom, Fire Flower, Feather, and Star, if you want the Star, hit the box while the Feather is displayed. Normal exit isn't too difficult, just make ...

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Sailing the Sandy Seas

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 5 - Slipsand Galaxy - Sailing the Sandy Seas (with post commentary) In this video we head back to Slipsand Galaxy. Make your way down the moving sand by jumping from platform to platform. Grab the Life Mushroom on your way and then head into the green pipe. This strange area changes its gravitational pull as you walk on the ground. First, walk left and travel up the wall and over the ceiling in a clockwise manner. Keep moving on the roof until you can "fall" to the right. Move around the room clockwise until the arrows point left and then drop into the orange warp pipe. If you need to, enter the green warp pipe to reset the area and try again. The final area features a yellow platform that cruises down a river of sand. When it makes contact with cacti, all the blocks involved in the collision will disappear for a few seconds. You can move around to avoid the cacti. The Kameks will zap blocks out from under you if you let them. To keep them at bay, shoot them with star bits to paralyze them and then spin to destroy them once you get close. The final threat you'll encounter is a Silver Chomp that will aim right for you. Try to lead it to one side of the platform, leaping to the far side just as it nears you. Keep jumping from side to side to avoid it. The Power Star is just ahead! More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 3 - Tall Trunk Galaxy - The Flotacious Blimp Fruit (with post commentary) In our first mission in World 3 we get to use a new Yoshi Power-Up, the Blimp Fruit! This fruit turns Yoshi into a balloon like thing that allows him to float for a period of time. You have an air meter you'll need to watch which indicates how long you can float for. If you hold down the A button Yoshi will hold his breath which will give you a little extra time in the air if needed. Float your way through the level and don't forget to grab your Comet Medal at the turning tree/wood part! Very fun stuff! More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com

Super Mario World Changes from SNES to GBA Part 2

Note: Some SNES clips were taken from a TAS run, which saved me time making a clip. The two versions are: SNES/VC and GBA versions. Fire Mario's Face: SNES/VC: Doesn't alter much from Super Mario. GBA: This is a notable change as SMA 2 Super Mario's face was pale white. Koopa Kids' room transition: SNES/VC: Mosaic in only. GBA: Mosaic in and out. Luigi on the Map screen: SNES/VC : As player 2, in the map screen you can share lives. 2 players only. GBA: As the 2 player feature doesn't exist, Luigi can be a alternate character to Mario, just switch. Pausing an Incomplete level: SNES/VC: Just a freeze. GBA: 3 options: (see on video). Back a Complete level: SNES/VC:Pause + Press select GBA: Highlight Back. Power ups in ghost house: SNES/VC: They are translucent such as the 1up mushroom. GBA:opaque Punching a Koopa on a net: SNES/VC: Awards you with 100 points GBA: Awards you with 400 points. Pushing Yoshi: SNES/VC: Yoshi doesn't move GBA: Yoshi does get pushed along now. Super Mario Galaxy 2: Flip-Flopping in Flipsville

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 4 - Flipsville Galaxy - Flip-Flopping in Flipsville (with post commentary) In this video we head to a new and very... interesting galaxy. Throughout the level and the boss fight you'll be groundpounding the grates to access the underside of the platforms, and to also kill the new enemy, Pupdozer. In one corner you'll find a teleporter that leads to the bonus area with 3 1-Ups. Directly below the teleporter, on the bottom side, is the Comet Medal. Walk under it and perform a careful jump to get it. Be sure to avoid the Chomps, you can't kill them using this grate groundpound method. You can grab the Life Mushroom near them, but don't hang out in the hole! In the next area, flip through the gates to get to the underside of the first moving platform. On each platform you'll have to flip a gate to either avoid spikes or an obstacle. It's a bit mind-bending, but the jumps aren't too difficult. Just don't make the same mistake I did! Access the launch star on the far platform to zoom over to a checkpoint flag and a Luma shop where you can prepare for the boss. ~~Boss: Glamdozer~~ Flip to the underside of the boss area and hit Glamdozer with a ground pound through the central gate. This should get her attention! Return to the underside of the platform and try to hit her again. She'll begin firing lava fire balls at you which you'll need to avoid. If she isn't standing over a gate, stand on the nearest gate she's facing and she should move onto it ...

Beating New Super Mario Bros Wii under 30 mins

[Spoiler Warning] Part 1 of beating New Super Mario Bros Wii in 26:31 with no powerups (from first mario control to last mario control (including all mandatory cut-scenes inbetween); if you count from starting a new game to being returned to the main menu after the credits, it's 33:55). This is my "wee" Mario speed run of NSMBW, subject to my own stipulation that Mario must remain little the whole time (eg no power-ups including checkpoint flag growth or tiny mushrooms). Note that Yoshi is not a power-up (he isn't in the chart of items accessible from the map by pressing 1). Part 1: www.youtube.com Part 2: www.youtube.com Part 3: www.youtube.com What you see here is my best run for each stage in the sequence, recorded only if I was able to get to that point in the speed run maintaining adequate pacing and without dying (excluding my deliberate self-death after 5-1 to avoid Petey Piranha overworld encounter). Accordingly, this speed run video would have to be considered segmented, but what I show here is what could be done all at once at this same speed. Since my only goal was to beat the game as quickly as possible with just little mario, you won't see me go out of my way for coins, stars, or score. If you don't have the game yet, I should let you know that there is of course a TON more to this game, but I leave that for you to enjoy yourself! And if I've made this game look easy, don't be fooled, I've died more times than there are letters in this description. Gameplay ...

Super Mario Galaxy 2: The Sweetest Silver Stars

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 4 - Honeyhop Galaxy - The Sweetest Silver Stars (with post commentary) In this mission we get to use the Bee Suit to make our way throughout the level. Some things to remember: The Bee Suit disappears when it touches water, you can collect coins to recharge your flight meter, you can land on flowers and stick to honeycombs walls (and queen bees apparently!) Make your way up the level and be sure to watch out for the rolling bubbles; they will not only take away your Bee powers, but you'll also get trapped inside it. Simply spin to free yourself. Grab the flower and you can float down to the next area. You can spin to get some height as you hang from it (but not more than three times or you'll fall to your death!). The final area has five silver stars hidden throughout its vertical climes. Before setting out to gather them, grab the Life Mushroom above the large, purple flower. Travel around the right side of the mountain and wall-jump up the gap in the wall to grab a silver star. You can keep wall-jumping even higher to grab your Comet Medal! The final silver star is at the top of the mountain. Fly over to the Queen Bee and you'll be able to grab her body and climb around on her. The star is nestled in the fur on her back. With all the silver star pieces collected, the Power Star will appear in front of the Queen Bee. Grab it before Octoguy gets ya! More Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos: www.youtube.com
