This is a video with my big neodymium magnet (which is no longer my biggest - watch another of my videos). A powerful, yet dangerous magnet that can do amazing tricks. I've tried to make some original tricks in this video instead of just showing how much this magnet can lift (which is around 200 kg under optimum conditions). Music credits are at the end. Super Fast 9V Magnet Motor - Dual Core!
Super fast magnetic motor. This is a Newman Motor, but better. It's simplicity is what makes this motor so cool. It's made with 1 coil of copper wire wound in two parts, (top and bottom coils) one end grounded to the shaft, and the other to the negative of the 9V battery. The positive is connected to the other end of the shaft completing the circuit. The speed is phenomenal and I've not seen another Newman motor with this speed. If you know of one please send the vid!. Also you'll notice two sets of neo-mags. This is the reason for the phenomenal speed achieved. Though there's nothing really special about the design. Moving the magnets out closer to the coils simply produces more force on both end of the shaft, making the motor spin at a much higher RPM than a single core design which is further from the magnetic fields produced by the copper coils. MAGNET MAGIC / SUPER CONDUCTORS
This is an excellent demo of super conductivity. The liquid is liquid nitrogen. The disk is a magnet. The black block is the super conducting (SC) material (but becomes SC only below its critical temperature, somewhat higher than liquid nitrogen). When warm, the block has no particular magnetic / electric properties. When cooled, it becomes a SC. One of the properties of a SC is that magnetic fields can be pinned in place in the SC. A moving magnetic field generates eddie currents within conductors, and can be felt as a resistance to relative motion. In most materials, this current quickly decays due to electrical resistance. In SC, eddie currents do not decay, but instead will tend to hold the magnetic field in place.

One Magnet Bedini--- Running on Super Capacitors
This is the one magnet Bedini motor being run with super capacitors. The spinning egg magnet is now stable and running on low voltage and low amp draw. A Joule Thief circuit is shown being run remotely from induced power off the spinning magnet. The circuit being used is from Jonny Davro and is a modified John Bedini design. Revin' Up the Tesla CD Turbine II With Magnetic Disc Pack
Mrfixitrick spins up the Tesla CD Turbine II to see if it holds together under speed. Some great revving action with the sights and sounds of this CD Turbine at over 10000 rpm on compressed air. The Tesla CD turbine is a disc type turbine made from CD discs, CD spindle, a nozzle, neodymium magnets, and glue. This test uses compressed air at about 50 psi. The original Tesla Turbine was invented by the great inventor Nikola Tesla in the early 1900's.
