Disneynature's "Earth" is a full-length version of the 2006 TV documentary series "Planet Earth." Taking some of the most beautiful footage of the natural wonders of our planet, the film focuses on the animal world in its ironic, tragic and comedic nature. Although the violent deaths are removed, the hunter and the hunted are emphasized. When it comes to climate change, the political controversy as to the cause of it is removed, but the film repeatedly emphasizes the effects of the change. Narrated in America by James Earl Jones and in England by Patrick Stewart, the narration is interesting but shallow. Explaining the unique characteristics of our planet to sustain life with its exact orbit and tilt, the film avoids either the assumptions of evolutionary language or the wonders of theistic creation. The film also avoids the scientific explanations often included in a documentary studying life on our planet. The end result is a rather bland film with moments of exquisite beauty. The movement of the film follows a calendar year. Starting the first of January in the Arctic where winter has frozen water and land, the film progresses throughout the year and the seasons into an Antarctic summer and back for fall. But this simple movement is not rigid and the time photography showing all four seasons of a deciduous forest, or the thawing and freezing of the Antarctic in a moment, are engaging. Here you got the music from the Ocean Loader 1, 2 & 3! There is a second video including Ocean Loader 4 & 5 (unfortunately there is a 10 minute limit so I could not put them in same clip). The two first versions were composed by Martin Galway and the third one was written by Peter Clarke. The purpose of this video is just to make you see the small differences between the different loaders used by Ocean. Mario Lanza- a superb Lamento di Federico
Mario Lanza (1921-1959) sings the 'Lamento di Federico' from Cilea's "L'Arlesiana", in the 1956 Warner Bros. film "Serenade". The studio orchestra is conducted by Ray Heindorf. This is arguably Lanza's best singing film, and the clip shows why- the voice is a bit darker and even more virile than it had been in previous years, loaded with squillo, and his stage presence is magnetic. Too many lyric tenors have crooned their way through this aria. The spinto weight of Lanza's voice and his raw emotion, on the other hand (not to mention the sheer gorgeous sound), give full measure to the character's utter despondence. Lanza's final 'Mi fai tanto male! Ahime!' sends shivers straight down my spine!

Filmed by: Tomaž Kožar Jesenice Skoda adds another model to its impressive range with the rather boastfully badged Superb. You have to be pretty confident to be so blatant in badging your car such, the big Skoda more than a match for its name. With a 100mm stretch in its wheelbase over it's VW Passat relative - which it bears more than a passing resemblance to - the Superb is a big car, that equating to huge amounts of cabin space for both front and rear seat passengers. Inside there's a quality feel that'll again be familiar to people more used to VW and Audis. The range of engines echoes that offered in all Volkswagen Group product ranges, including the excellent 1.9-litre 105bhp and 2.0-litre 140bhp turbodiesels. All engines from the 2.0-litre unit up offer respectable performance, though the smallest petrol can be a touch unrefined if pushed hard. The extra £1000 for the 1.8-litre turbo is well worth it. Tiptronic automatics are available, as are five and six-speed manual transmissions, equipment levels across all trim levels being comprehensive - all cars getting air conditioning as standard. Find a winding road and the Superb is unlikely to impress the more demanding driver, but it does everything asked from it, and works well as a refined and capable long distance companion. Spacious, well-equipped and sensibly priced, the Superb really has everything it needs to compete in the family car market.
