Swype has been ported to the iOS and is currently in beta so hopfully we will see future updates for support with not only stock apps, I would also like to see the line indicator of where you have swiped over on the keyboard. Swype is a long time awesome android feature which allow you to type up a word by swiping over the keyboard, spelling as you go along! A really nice feature especially to those who don't fancy the traditional method of pressing the keyboard and would like to see a much unique (to the iOS) way of typing. Swype is a popular typing method on the Android platform that allows you to type on your keyboard without having to lift your finger as often. This feature has been ported to iOS and is currently in Beta as a Cydia Tweak. The iSwipe beta works fairly well, you can at least get an image of what it can look like in it's final form. You simply slide to the letters in the word you are spelling instead of tapping all the letters. A blue line will follow your finger to make it a bit easier, it helps a lot. The beta is currently free within the developers repo below, but I wouldn't keep it on your device for long, after more testing, it interferes with a lot of typing. The Swype Keyboard app is an additional keyboard you can install on your Android Tablet. It helps speed up typing because you don't need to lift your finger off the keyboard. Rather than typing individual letters, Swype lets you connect letters up by swiping your finger across the keyboard to spell the word. So if you are spelling 'Android', for instance, press the A key and run your finger across all of the letters in that word. As long as the letters are in order it will write the word. If you have Auto-Spacing on, to add a space between words you can just carry on Swyping. If you need to Swype single letter words such as A or I, just do the same. If the word Swype gives you is not the word you wish to use, stop Swyping and choose the word from other similarly spelt words in the Word Choice List. Swype will also remember any unrecognised words you have typed in the future and add them to this list. If you are writing a word that is likely to be misspelt by Swype, avoid drawing a path over the wrong letter. So, if you need to write 'bit' and it comes out 'but', avoid the U and you will have Swyped the correct word. If you wish to capitalise a letter, drag you finger from that letter to above the keyboard and then back down onto the next letter of the word. Swype also helpfully capitalises the letter I for you.
