Russ Taff- "Higher Power"

The ACTS Network produced some concerts for video back in the early '80s, and here is gospel singer Russ Taff at his best, singing a tune he used to perform with the Imperials. Russ' vocals are so great, you can forgive the short-sleeve pink and black tuxedo shirt. Look for First Call's Bonnie Keen singing backup...

Sweden National anthem English lyrics

Du gamla, Du fria ("Thou ancient, Thou free") is the de facto national anthem of Sweden. It was originally named Sång till Norden ("Song to the Nordic"), and the first words of its lyrics has just been assumed also to be the title over the years. Although the Swedish constitution makes no mention of a national anthem, the song enjoys universal recognition and is used, for example, at sporting events. It first began to win recognition as a patriotic song in the 1890s, and the issue was debated back and forth up until the 1930s. In 1938, the Swedish public service radio company Sveriges Radio started playing it at the end of transmitting in the evenings, which really marked the beginning of the "almost official" status as national anthem the song has since then. Despite a widespread belief that it was adopted as the national anthem in 1866, no such recognition has ever been officially accorded. In 2000 a Riksdag committee rejected, as "unnecessary", a proposal to give the song official status. However, there have since been repeated motions with a similar intent. The original lyrics were written by Richard Dybeck in 1844. Swedish composer Edvin Kallstenius arranged the traditional melody from Västmanland. Dybeck himself originally wrote the beginning as "Du gamla, Du friska" (Thou ancient, Thou hale), but in the late 1850´s personally changed the lyrics to "Du gamla, Du fria" (Thou ancient, Thou free). The song was already published in several song books and sung with "Du ...

"He Set Me Free" By Russ Taff

I LOVE RUSS TAFF! I saw him in a gaither homecoming concert october 1, 2005 in colorado springs, colorado. He brought down the house! The gaither group calls him "the cheerleader" because he's so enthusastic and he really encourages the other preformers. He is just how he seems to be and he's also pentacostal like me :)

Lyrics for this song :- When peace cannot be found And sleep won't visit me tonight A restless mind that I can't tame I walk the floor I call your name Finally silence and the tears begin to fall I Cry And You're the one who hears me calling I fall So easily but You're there to catch me Say the words that heal me I'm safe when I'm with You You touch my eyes I can see Oh the comfort that You bring When nothing else can reach inside Sympathetic friends are all around Their soothing words fall to the ground In the silence I feel You here with me I Cry And You're the one who hears me calling I fall So easily but You're there to catch me Say the words that heal me I'm safe when I'm with You You touch my eyes I can see I Cry And You're the one who hears me calling I fall So easily but You're there to catch me Say the words that heal me I'm safe when I'm with You No copyright infringement is intended, just uploading deserving country artists of the 1990's and songs worth sharing. Oh Buddah - Russ Taff (live video 1983)

With all due respect to all world religions, Jesus Himself said HE was the Way, the truth and the Life .. and that no man comes to God without HIM. Argue with Him. Not Christians. We just pass on the message and you do with it as you will. I pray you embrace it .. and Him.
"Aint No Grave" By Russ Taff (FULL)

I previously posted this in two parts, heres the full thing in one video. Russ Taff is one of my favorites. I saw him in a gaither concert last october, he was one of the hilights for me. He was the most energetic and he connected with the audience in a way some others didn't. He was a regular cheerleader, he urged the audience to get excited and involved with the show and when others were performing he would smile clap and cheer and often start standing ovations and encores. He was amazing, and this is, in my opinion, the "funnest" song he does.

David Phelps Is Jealous Of Russ Taff

As you can see, Mark Lowry has rubbed off on David Phelps lol NOTE TO VIEWERS: nothing he says is meant to be taken seriously. It's only a comedy skit and was planned and all in good fun. Grow a sense of humor. I think people are being unfair about it because it's David and most are obviously not aware that David has an amazing sense of humor. Mark has said far worse than any of this, and everyone knows he's joking. They all have great love for each other and they poke fun at each other all the time, as friends tend to do.
