Rare action+onboard+incar footage of Finland´s rising rally star Marcus Grönholm giving the all-new Peugeot 206 WRC its maiden win in the Mänttä 200 Rally in Finland ahead of the WRC Rally Finland 1999. Back in the days various teams and factory team drivers used the Mänttä 200 Rally as a test event for the upcoming 1000 Lakes/Rally Finland later in the summer - and in addition to Marcus the 1999 line-up included Carlos Sainz with his Toyota Celica as well as Armin Schwarz with his Skoda Octavia. (That camera angle pointing backwards was propably shot in a test session since there´s no start number on the side of the car)

Test session at Daytona Milton Keynes with Paul Granger having his first taste of the very quick Aixro XR50 Wankel engine, lapping in 54.7 seconds, over 1 second quicker than the outright lap record he previously set in 2004 on a MSkart Biland of 55.8. In the beginning of the video you will see Shoaib Akhtar bolwing to Matthew Hayden and Ricky Ponting. Would love to know their heart rates during these few overs that Shoaib let some rockets fly. Anyway if you wan't to improve your reaction to be able to handle super quick bowling you have to just test yourself and get in there. Find a quick bowler and get him to bowl from a meter closer or get someone who can really zing the side arm and use a new ball. This won't be the most fun you will ever have but it will make you a better player.

Ballistics gel test at a laser-measured 210 yards with the .223 Remington Hornady Superformance Varmint V-MAX, 53 grain. What better method for evaluating the performance of varmint ammo than at typical varmint hunting distances? Test rifle is the Bushmaster Varminter, 24" barrel. Brief pre-shot review, followed by full review of the bullet track, etc. from the 210 yard shot. I am using SIM-TEST Ballistic Testing Media, calibrated to the same specs as ordinance gelatin.
