The competitors at this year's tournaments will battle with Pokémon from the new Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games exclusively. In the United States, the Regional tournaments are open events, meaning you just need to show up ready to play, although space is limited. The top players from each Regional event will be invited to compete in the National Championships in Indianapolis in June. Then, the top players at the National Championships will earn invites to compete with players across the globe at the Pokémon World Championships in San Diego, California, this August! In Europe, National events will be held in England, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
