Took Dex and Smits to Trailblazers today (and Beth and fun too!) All horses were amazing! We got there only to find out they were running nearly n hour and a half late, so the ponies bless them were stood around for ages doing nothing! (Especially smits who was stood for 3 and a half hours doing naff all!) Took Dex in the 75, 12 faults, all of which totally my fault!!! Can see in the vid exactly what happened! I panicked and rushed him into the first one (because I started on the wrong rein and had to change...) after his hesitation into the 1st (all my fault) I tapped him on the shoulder to wake him up a bit and made him jump ahaha so that's why fence two was scrappy. Kind of got better as the course went on. He did so well and im so proud of him! Took him in 85 too he was incredible! Didn't expect him to be this good! Had 2 down both of which my fault, and I forgot fence 7 after the double (I was so pleased with him for doing the double I was too busy praising him to remember where to go next ahaha) so we circled and did it again, so another 12 faults for this round, but I never expected him to be so good! Never in a million years did I think id get him round an 85 vale view course this year so couldn't have wished for more from him!! Beth and fun did 85 too, only got 4 faults which is soo good, Beth hasn't had fun long and he is VERY different to her old pony so they are doing incredibly together!! Smartie did 95... by this point we had been there 4 hours and he was <b>...</b>

Retro NBA: 1977 Portland Trail Blazers
Portland entered the NBA Finals as the underdog to the Philadelphia 76ers, led by Julius Erving, the spectacular forward who was reinventing the game with his gravity-defying slam dunks. The Sixers put the Blazers in a hole by taking Games 1 and 2 in Philadelphia. Back home at Memorial Coliseum, however, Portland thrashed the 76ers by 22 points in Game 3 and by 32 points in Game 4. The Trail Blazers then won a third straight game by beating the Sixers back in Philadelphia. Game 6 took place on June 5 in Memorial Coliseum. The Sixers got 40 points from Erving, but the Trail Blazers closed them out, 109-107, to claim the NBA title. Walton scored 20 points, yanked down 23 rebounds, handed out 7 assists, and blocked 8 shots in Game 6, and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Finals.

The African American Trailblazers was conceived as part of Americas 400th anniversary celebration, the documentary and exhibition represent the collaborative effort of several community, regional government, and corporate partners to highlight the historic contributions of African Americans in the Colonial Period, Revolutionary War, Civil War, Reconstruction, and 20th Century that positively changed the Commonwealth, our country, and the world. The documentary vignettes were directed by Emmy Award winner producer Eric A. Futterman and tell the stories of 12 historic African American Trailblazers and describe other notable achievements since the first Africans arrived in Jamestown in 1619. It features re-enactments, music, historical photos, paintings and interviews with historical experts and African American Trailblazer award recipients Dr. Maya Angelou, Mr. Raymond Boone, Dr. Wyatt T. In the 80s, MJ was Air Jordan and this game was your typical showcase of his unique and unparalleled athleticism during his 37.1ppg year. With his supposed nemesis Clyde Drexler in town, MJ raised it up just a tad and basically took on the entire team by himself, bringing them back throughout the whole game for the win in the final minutes. With drive after drive, MJ was firing on all cylinders while earning his charity shots the hard way. Not one three point attempt was even taken here to break 50. Even more dominant perhaps in addition to his 20 buckets on 59% shooting was his defense. Covering the entire floor at all times, MJ was seemingly everywhere. Look at MJ going insane after having his block called a foul in the end with the game already in the bag with seconds left. That is the reaction of someone seeking supreme dominance. As Barkley said, MJ doesn't just want to beat you, he wants to win every play and dominate you so you'll never think the same way again. You can see MJ just looking to kill people on the drive whenever he had the ball and you never knew what shot or pass might be created in that moment. Brandon Roy wasn't going to let a bout with the flu mess with the streak. Roy was ailing, but didn't play like it. He had 25 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to their ninth straight win, a 101-96 victory over the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night. "I was hurting a little bit, but we're doing something special right now so I didn't want that to get in the way,'' Roy said. Roy, the Western Conference player of the week for the past two weeks, was taking little time to savour the win, let alone ponder his health. "Nine is great but we're looking forward to 10,'' Roy said. Roy and the Blazers will get their chance on Friday when they host the Denver Nuggets. Portland, 11-3 at home and 14-12 overall, has won nine straight games for the first time since they won 12 in a row during the 2001-02 season. It was Roy's eighth game during the streak with 20 or more points. "He's not just having a hot streak,'' coach Nate McMillan said. "What we're seeing out of him is what he is capable of doing.'' After trailing the entire second half, the Blazers evened it at 87 on Travis Outlaw's free throws with 6:08 to go. Roy followed up with a layup to put Portland ahead. The Blazers held on to the slim lead, but Toronto appeared to gain momentum when Jose Calderon's layup narrowed it to 97-93 with 1:47 left.
