Quark Turbo Flashlights: "Weapon Light Standard" by Nutnfancy
You can get totally ripped off when you go a buy a dedicated "weapon light." Some guys might be able to justify a $200-500 expense on ONE gun light but I cannot. Buyer beware: pricing on such lights is ludicrous and an outgrowth of marketing hype and strategy ("hey we're expensive because we're cool!"). Enter the 4Sevens "Quark Turbo" flashlights (and their successors) which pretty much divide this competition asunder. That's because these are extremely capable, lightweight, compact, tough, and relatively affordable lighting products that will impress you with their performance. The Quark 123 Turbo is my favorite (in weapon light POU): it weighs a svelt 3.6 oz and cranks out up to 230 lumens from it's programmable UI. The AA Turbo is not far behind at 205 Lumens but is a bit longer due to AA power cell use and weighs in at about 5.5 oz with rechargeables. The 123 Turbo accepts the AW IC-protected 1600 mah 17650 rechargeable cell but a more powerful 2600mah18650 won't fit (upgrade to a Quark 18650 body, purchased separately; battery types and technologies will also change). Both feature the programmable Quark "Tacitical" interface which allows two mode choices: tight bezel position and loose bezel positions (primary and secondary modes). The modes include: 0.2 lumen Moonlight (very useful), 4 lumen Low, 22 lumen Medium, 85 lumen high, and 230 lumen (205 lumen AA) Max, SOS, Strobe, and Beacon modes. THIS IS NOT MY CAR. NOR DO I KNOW THE GUY WHO OWNS IT. Let's also clear something up.. this car has 900 rwhp(rear wheel horsepower)... that's different from bhp(brake horsepower) which is measured from the engine. The bugatti veyron has 1000Bhp, not whp(power to the wheels, since it's awd). rwhp is ROUGHLY 15-20% less than bhp. so a car with 1000bhp probably has around 850rwhp. With that said, this car has probably around 1100 bhp... so please retards, don't say that the veyron has more hp bc it clearly doesn't. Whether it goes faster is completely different and if your e-penis gets bigger after stating your opinion, then go for it. With that said, here is a description of everything done to the car THAT I FOUND ON THE WEBSITE THAT I FOUND THIS VIDEO FROM(for the tards who wonder how I know so much about it): This car started out as a 1999 Mustang GT 5 speed. The car retains most of the factory interior excpet for the gauge cluster which has been replaced with the Florida 5.0 Setup. I will give you a rundown of what the car has. This car made 888Rwhp and 787+Rwtq on the dyno BLOWING the tires of the car on the rollers. Car was tuned by Job Spetter Jr from Turbo People and was still unable to fully tune the car because they couldn't get traction on the dyno. This is the car that WILL spin at 100+mph. Porsche 944 Turbo Top gear
In 1985 Porsche introduced the 944 Turbo, a higher-performance variant, known internally as the 951 (952 for right-hand drive models). This had a turbocharged and intercooled version of the standard car's engine that produced 220 hp (217 in the US) at 6000 rpm. The turbo was the world's first car using a ceramic portliner to retain exhaust gas temperature. The Turbo also featured several other revisions, such as improved aerodynamics, strengthened gearbox, standard transmission oil cooler, wider wheels, and upgraded suspension. Major engine component revisions, more than thirty in all, were made to the 951 to compensate for increased internal loads and heat. 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo (US Model)In 1988, Porsche introduced the 944 Turbo S. The 944 Turbo S had a more powerful engine (designation number M44/52) with 247 hp (compared to the standard 944 Turbo's 217 hp) and 350 Nm torque (or 258 ft·lbf, versus 243 ft·lbf). This higher output was achieved by using a larger turbo housing on the exhaust side, and a remapped engine computer. In June 1988, Car and Driver tested the 944 Turbo S and achieved a 0-60 mph time of 5.5 seconds and a quarter mile time of 13.9 seconds at 101 mph (163 km/h). The intake manifold features an additional vacuum port for two total vacuum ports, but intake manifolds can be swapped between S and non-S cars. 851 RWHP Twin Turbo 2004 Cobra built and tuned by www.precision-autospots.com. Car is daily driven. Update 5-13-2009 - The Mustang has just gone over an engine freshup as it had over 30k miles on it and making over 800 rwhp!! During this time the Sullivan intake was removed and a Ported Mach 1 intake took its place. It now makes 800 rwhp and 725 torque at 19 psi on pump 93. It is down about 25 hp on the top end but it picked up over 100 torque and 90 rwhp at 4500 RPM! The Transmission and the rear-end are still mostly stock. The car was just delivered back to its owner in Florida and it got 23 MPG with the AC on doing about 80 MPH. No new 116/93 mix gas numbers. 2008 - Owner reports getting 25 MPG still on the highway. No new track times and owner has no plans to take back to the track. After all, this is his beater ;) 2-24-08 // Car now makes over 925 RWHP on 116/93 mix gas. Owner called Precision the other day to say he handed a ZX-14 its ass from a roll. And it was only set to about 850 rwhp he said. Amazing car! Now about the track times. Look, the owner had just spent a fair amount of money and these were the only runs he made ever with the car and quite honestly, he did want to break anything. Ford built a great driveline, but more than doubling the power output tends to make you carefull with your car. He was not going for anything steller, just a time. The mid 11 sec pass was on about 675 rwhp setting. The owner used to have a 8 sec. turbo Fox body, so he is not <b>...</b>

Installing a T-28 turbo on a 98 Eclipse GSX
This is an easy install. Everything is in the same location as on the factory turbo, and bolts right on. Those of you who have never installed or haven't upgraded a turbo yet might find this video more useful than those who have. Torque specs from the factory service manual are listed for what's most important. It's imperative that new turbo bolts are used with new FACTORY turbo washers. They're a specially designed spring washer, and are single-use. Use of other kinds of washers may cause bolts to break or vibrate loose. This turbo was on the car prior to this installation, but it received a port job to match the burly EVO III manifold. We installed a head-feed turbo oil feed line rather than use the factory hard lines connected to the oil filter housing. Some argue that the oil pressure from the filter housing can be harmful to the life of the turbo, but IMO, that only applies to turbos with full circumference bearing center sections. Either way, the Stainless Steel line is cool. I'll post the part number for the plug needed to block off the old line location.

Also shown are the results of the most resent upgrades done to Leonard Arnold's Pikes Peak racer by none other than Gale himself and ace engineer/engine calibrator Matt Trainham. With Paul putting the engine's newly twin turbocharged might to the test the car now has the horsepower to accelerate quicker and to go much faster than ever before. Although Paul's been driving this car for years now, the newly added power has made this familiar old horse into a stampeding beast. It's a new ball game as he learns what the car can do all over again. Banks Power has made adjustments to its twin turbo system and equipped the car with an altitude compensation system that its military division (Banks Defense) has been working on for armored vehicle use, infinitely varying the boost pressure to match both demand and the rapidly changing environment on the hill. Matched with the engines ECU it created a complete engine management system that is ahead of the pack, giving the driver all the firepower he needs in any situation at a moment's notice. Even with the driver putting the power down conservatively during this practice run the car rocketed through the upper portion of the course at 4.56 (a record we're told for that section).
