I finally got around to doing a little video of one of the songs of our debut album. Besides the first 2 solos I also play on the studio version of this song, I threw in an additional solo and I replaced Michel's solo at the end. I thought this might make it a little more interesting to watch. The footage is kind of low quality and not perfect in any way, but I do dig the performance so I thought I'd share it anyways! The steady presence of chordal sounds - be it guitar - is of invaluable support, you seemingly can't dispose of. True, it was rejected and slighted in the '60-s by the free - jazz avantgarde, but the majority of harmony - oriented hornplayers preferred not to take chances.
