Influx :: Ubiquity :: Halo 1 Final Montage
Check out - thehaloinsider.com Influx- And here we have it, the final product. I'd like to start off by saying a little about the footage. The footage that was used was accumulated over the span of two years of playing halo on and off. Some of the footage may have been briefly seen in another, not as popular, video of mine released by neXus, which is why I chose to include it in here. I'm guessing the footage was captured around Jan 08-September 08, and then some more recent stuff from around December 08, April 09-May 09. People will notice the lack of triple kills and killtaculars, but keep in mind that I'm a big fan of 2v2's, which is why you see a lot of indoor maps. To say this video, when it was finally put into the hands of a capable and willing editor, was rushed is an understatement. Thanks to CJ for doing this during on very short notice and while on a very strict schedule due to work and school. Props to him for the good job he did. There is no pretty After Effects title: Why? Because it doesn't need one. Who cares: everyone learns it from Andrew Kramer anyway. The title of the video is Ubiquity. I'm aware of the definition of the word ubiquity, but by applying that word to halo and dumbing it down for everyone, I'll simply (initiate ego) say that I'm just a beast and do everything for my team (release ego). UBIQUITY: G20 Summit Toronto (short doc)
A short film by Shan Vincent de Paul of MAGNOLIUS On the weekend of June 26, 2010 thousands of Canadians marched the downtown streets of Toronto to protest the G20 Summit and its intentions. The Canadian government invested over 1 billion dollars (55 million dollars an hour) in security to supposedly protect its citizens. The outcome resulted in over 900 questionable arrests by the police and riots squads that flooded the city. That fateful weekend Shan Vincent de Paul hit the streets of his city to witness the events surrounding the summit. What he saw, and what he captured on camera were disturbing to say the least. The result is a short film titled 'UBIQUITY' that is both haunting and moving. This film manages to do what most of the amateur 'handicam' footage does not and presents several scenes that the mainstream media networks refused to show.
