PLEASE LIKE OUR VIDEO! :) Camp Kesem is a non-profit organization catered to kids who have parents suffering from cancer, have died from cancer, or are in remission. We provide a free week-long summer camp for these kids to have fun and just be kids with activities such as swimming, archery, arts and crafts, and sports. Along with all this fun is a support group where they are able to connect with other campers as well as counselors who have gone through similar experiences. To be able to send these kids to camp, UCSD students spend all year fundraising and planning for camp. Some things we do to raise money are bake sales, recycling, raffles and bigger events such as concerts and comedy shows. Our goal this year is to take about 95 kids to camp, which means we have to raise about $75000. We are not able to do this without help from donors and winning this contest would make such a big difference for us. With $1000 we could potentially take 5 kids to camp!
