This is only my second purchase of a Yamato Valkyrie. The first being a 1/60 VF-1S which was amazing to me at the time since I was used to the cheap knock offs as a kid. This time around its a 1/48 scale Valkyrie which is an awesome size butno diecast. There is a bright side to that though, it can actually be handled modrately rough without damaging any paint! I usually pull my robos out of the box when I get them in, photograph/film/review them, then they go away to storage. This one actually hung out in my room for e few days because I couldn't stop transforming it. Its fun. Only complaint is that it should have come with anime style hands..these flimsy articulated hands fall apart. Nothing a touch of glue cant fix though.

The operation was codenamed "Valkyrie", for the emergency plan that was meant to be used in case of a revolt against the Nazi government. This plan had been modified by the conspirators to ensure their success, but for various reasons the plot failed when finally carried out on 20 July 1944. The conspirators of the inner circle were shot after a kangaroo trial or sentenced to death soon after.
Secret Sphere start for an idea of Aldo Lonobile, on July 1997. The first line-up features Aldo Lonobile (guitar), Andrea Buratto (bass), Cristiano Scagliotti (drums), Gianmaria Saggi (guitar), and Ramon (vocals). After many changes finally on December '97 the band finds stability with two new members: Antonio Agate (keyboards) and Paco Gianotti (guitar). The music that Secret Sphere love and begin to play takes inspiration from Hard Rock, Heavy Power Metal and classical music. In their lyrics you can meet fantasy atmospheres and real life moments.
