This is a diy venturi that ive made to oxygenate my aquarium !!!!! I have made 3 for my tank !!! And i am part way through making a diy 3D poly and cement background !!! so had to try my venturis in a bucket to make sure they work fine !!! And they do :) :) Very easy and cheap to make !!!! Save's you buying air pumps ect and does a great job of getting oxygen into the water !!!! Only down fall is that they are quite noisy !!!!!

VENTURI or Venturi Automobiles is a French manufacturer of sports cars born under the name of MVS (Manufacture de Voitures de Sport / sport car manufacture). From the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s they built mid-engined coupés and roadsters with turbocharged PRV engines and Renault gearboxes. Engine power ranged from 210 to 260 PS (190 kW) for the Atlantique series. A limited edition 400 GTR was built for racing homologation requirements, and later used in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Venturi also built the 1992 chassis for the Larrousse Formula 1 team. Venturi Automobiles was created as France's answer to Italy's Ferrari. The first Venturi came out in 1984, created by Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy, two former engineers at Heuliez. The goal was to present the only "Grand Tourisme" French car capable of competing with the French Bugatti, the Italian Ferrari, and the German Porsche. The headquarters of the company were located in the Pays de Loire in Coueron (44) where almost 700 cars were produced in 20 years. The 400 GT remains one of the best performing French cars ever produced, and it is in fact the very first car in the world to have standard carbon brakes. True to that claim the Atlantique 400GT with a 400 PS (290 kW) V6 delivered excellent performance to put it on par with Ferraris of the early 90s. The 400GT could hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and 300 km/h (190 mph) top speed, while the 300GT with a 310 PS (230 kW) V6 did 4.9 seconds to 100 km/h (62 mph) and <b>...</b>
The hybrid turbine combines an 8 foot horizontal axis turbine at the top of the tower with my twin rotor vertical axis venturi turbine that makes up the tower. The vertical axis turbine extracts wind energy from the tower section and it also provides structural support. The turbine is capable of well over 1500 watts. Will keep posted with actual results

Multi Venturi Design Vac Cubes design of vacuum generators incorporates a series of venturi nozzles. Each nozzle has a progressively larger orifice selected to extract the maximum amount of energy from the compressed air, while optimizing the levels of vacuum generated. Normally, no special pre filters are required because the venturi nozzles are aligned to allow "straight through" air flow. This is a very special and rare supercar. A forgotten French brand called Venturi was once a big itch on Porsche's nose when they released the Atlantique and the 400 in the 1990s. They were well-built, fast and stylish luxury coupes with a sense of obscurity and was a decent alternative to a Porsche 911. But when Venturi released the 400GT they headed for a bigger target, Ferrari. The 400GT was a limited run, all out supercar that had a twin turbo Renault V6 engine that produced 408bhp and speeds in excess of 190mph. As you can see from its provocative looks it very much looks like the car it set out to beat. The Ferrari F40. And it nearly did until Venturi suddenly and sadly hit bankruptcy. The 400 GT is very rare. They only made 14 and this one is the only right hand drive ever made. Thanks to the owner for showing me round and telling me the cars history, I found it very interesting indeed. This a lap done on november 20, the conditions were very hasardous, with 80% of the track dry only. Temperature only 4 degress Celcius. So almost no grip fir this cat of 408 PS and 1080kg. What a terrific exprerience!

Here, we are using a home-made venturi tube to measure airflow through a PVC pipe, coming from the air fan on our lab's turbocompressor system. The venturi tube produces a pressure drop which is detected by a Rosemount 3051 differential pressure transmitter, characterized (square-root function) and reported to a DATAQ data acquisition unit to be graphed and displayed on the computer screen.
