Team Fortress 2 Crafting Vintage Weapons

Apparently, a lot of people believe that Vintage weapons or Hats are different from normal non-vintage weapons. And thus people believe they are worth more in trades. People want a lot of items for them. And equally, poor saps will pay through the nose to get them. Believing that it'll increase the value of their backpack. Sad to say, the only different between a Vintage Weapon and the non-vintage form of the same weapon is just the name. THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ITEM, IT IS JUST THAT THEIR NAME IS PURPLE. So here I am crafting some of my vintage items away in to metal. There's no real reason for vintages to be held in high regard as non-vintages. There's no differences between them aside from the name. A non-vintage homewrecker will kill sappers all the same as vintage homewrecker. A non-vintage Jarate will coat enemies with a vile smelly liquid the same way as a vintage Jarate. Eating too many non-vintage Dalokoh's bars will make you just as fat as a vintage Dalokoh's Bar does. Need I go on? So I say, down with vintage! I urge everyone to not pay through the nose for them, nor should they want others to pay through their noses for them. I urge everyone to craft as many vintage weapons as they can to make metal. And repeat after me: A vintage weapon is the same as a non-vintage weapon, and the only different is cosmetic! Are you with me!?

A vintage classic. There are Secret Sam commercials here on youtube. This set was part of the 60's spy craze and many spy related toys were made. THE GUN SHOP / STORE ~ FIREARMS DEALER

This place is called 'The Gun Shop', located in Kingman Arizona. These guys are well experienced and knowledgeable in firearms, hunting, trapping, taxidermy, wildlife information and camping. Located on Stockton Hill Road out a ways north of town, you can't miss the huge warehouse like building and a large gun on top of the roof. Very interesting looking around, some rare guns and cool animals on the walls. They're big on Taxidermy, from small wildlife to rather large like bears. It's the cyborg general! This figure is a figure of polar opposites. He has some awesome things (like four arms, five weapons, and pockets in his cape), and some sucky things (like hands that fall off and can't hold weapons, and articulation that is deceptively limiting). 3/5

here are the last dioramas of my Star Wars wardrobe. on the upper level you can see Ben Kenobi talking to the Jawas. I found the red stone to the left (behind the remote control) in the Canyon in Tunisia and took it home as a souvenir! Yes, really THE Canyon! It is now my "Jawa Stone" and it fits well in the Tatooine diorama. On the lower level you can see the Land of the Jawas playset with mostly newer figures and vintage Jawas. The sand people walk in single file to hide their numbers ;o)) But they have grown too many... Right: Jabba´s guys with their boats. This is a fan film!!! May the Force be with you all and may it keep the vacuum cleaner from hooving up the small vintage weapons... I thank you all for the good feedback for my videos! Markus from Germany

*ki guess this saying here that it's purely for the achievement isn't enough. from now on i'm gonna delete messages saying i missed a weapon. here's all the weapons you need to find to get the "All Firearms Collected" achievement. offcourse there are more ways and spots to find most of the weapons, but here's just my examples for the ones i think are most easy to find. Remember to bring all the weapons to an ICA crate or take them with you when you exit a level, always exit a level when you brought a new weapon to an ICA crate. EDIT: There is NO Mark III in the Xbox360 version, so please stop asking for it... EDIT: Nemesis803 told me there's a bug in the game, when you go on a massacre run after finding weapons you don't have yet and you die during that run, press restart and complete the mission with an SA rating, sometimes you'll still get the weapons you collected during the massacre run. Courtesy National Nuclear Security Administration / Nevada Site Office 0800015 - Operation Upshot-Knothole - 1953 - 35:45 - Color This operation conducted at the Nevada Test Site consisted of 11 atmospheric tests. There were three airdrops, seven tower tests, and one airburst. Conducted between March 17 and June 4, 1953, this operation involved the testing of new theories, using both fission and fusion devices. A new and revolutionary method of producing deliverable thermonuclear weapons was successfully tested. Approximately 21000 Department of Defense military and civilian personnel participated in Operation Upshot-Knothole as part of the Desert Rock V exercise. Unfortunately, Operation Upshot-Knothole, particularly the HARRY test, drew a great deal of criticism as resultant fallout levels produced increased offsite radiation exposures. Kris / Kalis Sword WW2 Pacific Bring Back

This is a kalis sword that my uncle brought back from the Pacific after World War 2. He was in the Army Air Corp as a mechanic. I was told that he was in New Guinea. I received this in the 1970's. A kalis is a type of double-edged Filipino sword, often with a "wavy" section, similar to a keris. Unlike the keris, the Kalis's double-edged blade can be used for both cutting and thrusting. The wavy portion of the kalis is said to be meant to facilitate easier slashing in battle - since a straight edge tends to get stuck in the opponent's bones, the wavy portion allows the kalis' bearer to more easily pull the weapon out of his opponent's body.

Courtesy National Nuclear Security Administration / Nevada Site Office 0800011 - Operation Tumbler/Snapper - 1952 - 47:00 - Nevada, Color, Sanitized - Operation Tumbler-Snapper consisted of eight nuclear shots in two phases. The Tumbler phase was of primary concern to the Department of Defense, which called for airdropped nuclear weapons tests. The Snapper second phase was a set of experiments conducted by the Atomic Energy Commission and the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory to help improve effects of nuclear weapons. Able, an airdrop event on April 1, 1952, produced a yield of one kiloton. One of the experiments involved an analysis of the shock waves produced by the detonation. The Baker blast on April 15, 1952, with a one kiloton yield, also produced weapons effects data. The news media was invited to view the Charlie nuclear detonation, a first at the Nevada Proving Ground. They watched from "News Nob," about seven miles away. Also, approximately 2000 Army personnel, including paratroopers, conducted maneuvers beneath the mushroom cloud. The 31-kiloton explosion on April 22, 1952, was one of the largest ever conducted in Nevada to that date. With the 19-kiloton Dog shot on May 1, 1952, the Marines got their turn at a nuclear exercise. They loaded into their trucks and drove toward ground zero until intolerable radiation levels forced them to abort the mission. The Easy shot of 12 kilotons on May 7, 1952, provided scientists the opportunity to record photographically ...

Top 17 Satisfying PC Game Weapons - LGR

There are tons of game weapons that FEEL great to use. But some rise above the rest and for whatever reason they just blow away the competition. Why? I don't know, this is totally subjective but it's something I've noticed and is just a list for fun. This is the top 17 most satisfying and gratifying PC game weapons I've come across. Games were chosen on the basis of that intangible feeling of awesomeness that I got when playing them. Whether it be from sound, visual feedback, "feel", etc. Why 17? Because it's an odd number, very odd.

Operation Argus (1958) Atmospheric Nuclear Tests

Courtesy National Nuclear Security Administration / Nevada Site Office Operation Argus was a series of nuclear weapons tests and missile tests secretly conducted during August and September of 1958 over the South Atlantic Ocean by the United States's Defense Nuclear Agency, in conjunction with the Explorer 4 space mission. Operation Argus was conducted between the nuclear test series Operation Hardtack I and Operation Hardtack II. Contractors from Lockheed Aircraft Corporation as well as a few personnel and contractors from the US Atomic Energy Commission were on hand as well. The time frame for Argus was substantially expedited due to the instability of the political environment [bans on atmospheric and exoatmospheric testing were forthcoming]. Consequently, the tests were conducted within a mere half year of conception (whereas "normal" testing took one to two years). en.wikipedia.org

M202A1 66mm FLASH (Flame Assault Shoulder Weapon) Rocket Launcher

The M202A1 FLASH (Flame Assault Shoulder Weapon) is an American rocket launcher, designed to replace the World War II-vintage flamethrowers that remained the military's standard incendiary devices well into the 1960s. The M202 is based on the prototype XM191 napalm rocket launcher that saw extensive testing in the Vietnam War. The M202A1 features four tubes that can load 66 mm incendiary rockets. The M74 rockets are equipped with M235 warheads, containing approximately 1.34 pounds (0.61 kg) of an incendiary agent. The substance, often mistaken for napalm, is in fact thickened pyrophoric agent (TPA). TPA is triethylaluminum (TEA) thickened with polyisobutylene. TEA, a organometallic compound, is pyrophoric and burns spontaneously at temperatures of 1200°C (2192°F) when exposed to air. It burns "white hot" because of the aluminum, much hotter than gasoline or napalm. The light and heat emission is very intense and can produce skin burns from some (close) distance without direct contact with flame, by thermal radiation alone. As the caliber is shared with the contemporary M72 LAW RPG, it would have been theoretically possible to fire HEAT anti-tank rockets in lieu of the incendiary payload, and the XM191 was in fact capable of this. In the event, no such round was ever developed for the M202. The weapon is meant to be fired from the right shoulder, and can be fired from either a standing, crouching, or prone position. It has a trigger mode to facilitate firing all four ...

British Sterling Machine Gun: Apparently, How NOT to hold the Famed Weapon of World War 2!

Firing the 9mm Sterling Automatic Machine Gun first produced in Great Britain during WW2 (1943-1944) In 1944 the British General Staff issued a specification which any new submachine gun should conform to. It stated that the weapon should not weigh more than six pounds, should fire 9x19mm Parabellum calibre ammunition, have a rate of fire of no more than 500 rounds per minute and be sufficiently accurate to allow five single shots to be fired into a one foot square target at 100 yards. To meet the new requirement, Mr GW Patchett, the chief designer at the Sterling Armament Company of Dagenham submitted a sample weapon of new design in early 1944. The army quickly recognised its potential and ordered 120 examples for trials. Towards the end of the Second World War, some of these trial samples were used in combat by airborne troops at Arnhem and elsewhere, where it was known as the Patchett submachine gun. Given that the Patchett/Sterling can use straight Sten submachine gun magazines as well as the normal curved design, there were no interoperability problems. After the war, with large numbers of Sten guns in the inventory there was little interest in replacing them with a superior design. However in 1947 a competitive trial between the Patchett, an Enfield design, a new BSA design and an experimental Australian design with the Sten for comparison was held. The trial was inconclusive but was followed by further development and more trials. Eventually the Patchett design ...

A Is For Atom (1952)

Although the "Atoms for Peace" campaign was formally launched in 1957, corporate America began to promote peaceful uses of atomic energy as early as the first few months after Hiroshima. A Is For Atom, an artifact of this effort, takes this highly loaded and threatening issue straight to the public in an attempt to "humanize" the figure of the atom. A Is For Atom speaks of five atomic "giants" which "man has released from within the atom's heart": the warrior and destroyer, the farmer, the healer, the engineer and the research worker. Each is pictured as a majestic, shimmering outline figure towering over the earth. "But all are within man's power Ñ subject to his command," says the narrator reassuringly, and our future depends "on man's wisdom, on his firmness in the use of that power." General Electric, a long-time manufacturer of electric appliances, power generation plants, and nuclear weapon components, is staking a claim here, asserting their interest in managing and exploiting this new and bewildering technology. Its pitch: this is powerful, frightening, near-apocalyptic technology, but managed with firmness, it can be profitable and promising. This "Trust us with the control of technology, and we'll give you progress without end" pitch resembles what we've seen in films like General Motors' To New Horizons (on the Ephemeral Films disc). "Final Weapon" Theatrical Trailer

The Final Weapon takes viewers through the fast-moving odyssey of an aging warrior making a fatal choice upon his last battle. With Lou Reed appearing as 'The Holder' of the Final Weapon's secret verse and famed Taijiquan master, Ren Guangyi as 'Holder 1', the fast-moving film short is fueled by a stirring use of vintage music by Reed. Also starring Michael Woods, one of Hong Kong's most beloved film nemeses from the 1980s through the early 1990s. Woods came out of film retirement specifically to star as 'Protector 1'. The Final Weapon is a 15 minute action drama about holding, passing, using, and protecting an ancient form of martial art that when employed, renders the user invincible for 20 minutes, after which he/she dies. Thus the film explores the question of who is more important - those who are given the fatal responsibility to use overwhelming power or those given the task of protecting it. Final Weapon offers a poetic expression of universal themes with diverse characters and a textured story that dramatizes the fatality and vitality that comes with truly determining ones own fate. Inspired by the reality of weapons of mass destruction, Final Weapon brings to life the idea that there are those given the responsibility to use weapons such as nukes and those tasked with protecting such weapons. The question suggested by the film, in the context of martial arts, is who is more important - those who use such weapons or those who protect the weapons? The Final Weapon ...

Action Figures - Michaelangelo Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figure Toy Review 1988 Original Vintage

Thanks for Subscribing!! First episode of WPBP TrannyGamer 88 Second Action Figure Reviews!!!! Tons more on the way!! A review of the original Michaelangelo figure from the Playmates 1988 first wave of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys. All four turtles were given different shades of green, and Michaelangelo prefers the color Orange. His weapon of choice is the nunchukus and he also came with the generic ninja weapons that all four turtles came with. Mikey is a must-own of course and is very cool as far as figures go. The nunchuks were always a disappointment with the toy because they didn't have chains like they should have. This is the original figure that my parents bought me when I was a child. What do you think of Mikey? Leave your comment below!!! Thank you so much for watching! Hi, we are Louie Barra & Jessica De Leon and I'm a big-time gamer, action figure collector and movie watcher. I mostly collect Masters of the Universe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures but also have a few DC Universe, Star Wars and Sports figures. I have lots of video game consoles from Atari 2600 to PlayStation 3.
