Team Fortress 2 Crafting Vintage Weapons

Apparently, a lot of people believe that Vintage weapons or Hats are different from normal non-vintage weapons. And thus people believe they are worth more in trades. People want a lot of items for them. And equally, poor saps will pay through the nose to get them. Believing that it'll increase the value of their backpack. Sad to say, the only different between a Vintage Weapon and the non-vintage form of the same weapon is just the name. THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ITEM, IT IS JUST THAT THEIR NAME IS PURPLE. So here I am crafting some of my vintage items away in to metal. There's no real reason for vintages to be held in high regard as non-vintages. There's no differences between them aside from the name. A non-vintage homewrecker will kill sappers all the same as vintage homewrecker. A non-vintage Jarate will coat enemies with a vile smelly liquid the same way as a vintage Jarate. Eating too many non-vintage Dalokoh's bars will make you just as fat as a vintage Dalokoh's Bar does. Need I go on? So I say, down with vintage! I urge everyone to not pay through the nose for them, nor should they want others to pay through their noses for them. I urge everyone to craft as many vintage weapons as they can to make metal. And repeat after me: A vintage weapon is the same as a non-vintage weapon, and the only different is cosmetic! Are you with me!?
