Monday's are usual a light practice day for the Gonzaga University women's basketball team. This particular Monday, head coach Kelly Graves had the team play kickball. The highlight of the game...junior Kelly Bowen kicking a basket...that is right...kicking a basket. Bowen kicked the ball as hard and far as she could - resulting in making a bank shot into the pulled down basket.

Here is video of my Williams by Bachmann E7 A. It is pulling four WBB 72' streamlined passenger cars, two MTH Heavyweights, a Weaver Express car, and a K-Line Express boxcar. I customized this a unit to have a fixed pilot with removable pilot door and a scale-like coupler. With the new pilot, I can still run this locomotive on O-36 curves, but I run on my O-60 loop. The new pilot is a P&D Hobby F3 pilot that I cut down, painted and attached to the locomotive. In order for the front trucks to clear the new pilot and coupler, I had to grind down the original WBB coupler mount. Reason for using an F3 pilot on this E7 is the real PM/C&O #95 had this type.

FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton junior Lauren Chow tied a school record for three-point shooting with a perfect 6-for-6 night from beyond the arc and senior Lyndsey Grove became the 20th Titan to reach 1000 career points on Saturday evening as they swept the regular season series with Long Beach State thanks to a 64-48 victory at Titan Gym. Fullerton, which has won three of its last four Big West Conference contests, improved to 8-14 overall and 4-5 in league play, winning its fifth consecutive game against the 49ers in the series. Long Beach State fell to 5-18 overall, 3-7 in conference play with the loss. Chow's three-point performance matched the mark set by Shayla Bradshaw against UC Irvine in 1993 and finished the night nearly perfect from the floor overall for Fullerton, hitting 7-of-7 from the floor and all six of her three-point tries with a missed free throw late in the contest the only blemish on an otherwise stellar night. The No. 23/23 Gonzaga University women's basketball team went undefeated in West Coast Conference play for the second-straight season and third time in seven years, clinching the clean slate with an 80-58 victory over the University of San Diego Saturday afternoon at the McCarthey Athletic Center. The Bulldogs, who are the seven-time WCC Champions, have now won 30-straight regular season conference games dating back to the end of the 2008-09 season.

The Aggie women compiled a 26-8 overall record in 2009-2010, the program's fifth straight 20-win season under coach Gary Blair. The team won the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball championship in Kansas City, and welcome back Danielle Adams, the Big 12 newcomer of the year for the 2009-2010 season along with three other starters. Blair says the team's disappointing loss in the second round of the NCAA tournament last year means the team is focused even more on developing itself for the full length of the season. Junior guard Sydney Carter ranks among the league leaders in assists so far this year and averaging about 9 points per game. She says the team's depth creates some good problems to have... And Coach Blair says Carter's team-first attitude brings plenty of intangibles. The Aggies' only loss so far this year came to 5th-ranked Duke at Cameron Indoor by 3 points, but remain ranked in the top ten nationally thanks to wins over Michigan, Arizona, Cal, and TCU. Senior forward Danielle Adams leads the team in scoring, averaging almost 22 points and 8 rebounds per game, and already has four double-doubles.
