GTA:SA - Touhou: Eirin Yagokoro
So, I saw San Andreas had some Touhou mods. And I was like "I have to try this, yo!". And so I did. In fact, I missed a whole nights sleep just getting the thing going, and the rest of the day was full of fun and brilliance. So here's a few movie snippits that I took from today. By now, every character in my SA has been modded into Touhou-ness once I found more characters. Unfortunately, I think its too big a load on Fraps, or something, because it crashes my game when I try to record it now ^__^; Still very playable, though. (Did you expect me to resist a game where I could play as Eirin? I hope not!) To the people that take this game seriously: I do not. It is my sandbox, and I am playing in it.

This "Project" is a series of 14 ½ games consisting of 8 ½ normal danmaku shooters, 2 vs. danmaku shooters variation, one spin-off danmaku game, 2 fighting games, and a discordant note. All in all, a monopoly in the Japanese industry of STG. The owner of the franchise? ZUN. His mission? World domination through the doujin games. True story. This is it people, one of the two last video of this playthrough. I decided to do both Final Bosses and release them at the same time. Unfortunately, Eirin is merely a practice run while Kaguya is my first actual 1cc of a Lunatic Touhou game (though I heard PoFV is very easy with Medicine in Lunatic.) I find Eirin's to be more epic, even if it is only because of the music. "Gensokyo Millennium ～ History of the Moon" is one of those composition that makes fighting even a FOE an epic ordeal. I think it fits nicely with the vision I have of Eirin: that of a wise Lunarian with a regal air surrounding her. You just stand <b>...</b>

Dr Yagokoro is a flash game sorta based on Dr Mario.It can be found at chibitami.net Match the colours to destroy them while making sure the pills dont pile up to the top.. I recorded this to try out how much difference CamStudio's higher quality setting makes. Oh yeah...I got a much higher score playing this using a wii web browser. The hand cursor gets in the way a bit, but at least I don't have to worry about the mouse sticking with that....

Eirin Yagokoro: Touhou 08 IN Stage 6A - Easy
Alright... so. If you've been following my videos, you might have asked yourself at one point: "Who's this Eirin that Chibs can't seem to shut up about?" So, allow me to show you! In her original debut, Eirin was one of the last bosses in the 8th Touhou game, Imperishable Night. She's the nurse/archer that shows up about a minute in. Also, I'm playing as Sakuya and Remilia. You may remember them from one of my Scarlet Weather Rhapsody videos where I was Sakuya fighting Remilia. PS: There's a reason why I haven't posted any Touhou videos as of yet... I'm terrible at the game. I still get butchered on easy mode, and no amount of advice is going to help me. Laugh your heart out, /jp/.

Part 2 - Yagokoro Eirin Alright. Here's the second part to my Megamari playthrough. This time around I'm going through Eirin's stage now that I got Cirno's power. If you wonder about the ring in the beginning of the video, that's the sound that the game makes when you enter a password. Yes, I used a password to continue on. Why? I'm doing this in parts and I do not feel like running through the entire game in one sitting. That's just way too much time to consume and eventually I'll be worn out and I'll start making extremely stupid mistakes. 5:52 If you were wondering about that pause and then the music skip, I had to go do something urgent. I cut out the couple of minutes that i was gone. 5:50 Okay at that moment I just decided to just take the hit and use the invincibility to run over those pits. Those earth rabbits were getting annoying. Soon after I switch to Alice just so she can take the hit instead of Marisa for that one part. One of the parts of the game that just makes you tear your hair out because of those stupid pits.

MegaMari Walkthrough (Music Only) Part 2 (Yagokoro Eirin)
Part 2 and I start with the widely accepted "hardest and longest stage" of the initial eight. If you were looking for a place to start, this is not your level. For one thing, the ratio of enemies to bottomless pits averages at 2:1. What this means is that, if you are jumping over a pit, an enemy is or was trying to knock you into it. Secondly, there's Rumia, who turns the screen black at a time when enemies are shooting at you and there are bottomless pits inches in front of you and behind you. Another part people have problems with is the ladder. This is just a matter of timing, or using Thousand Knives, which Marisa can get from Sakuya. It's really not difficult. Then there's the spike shaft. The list keeps going and going, like Energizer... oh, Spark Man's stage! You can choose the right path or the left path, but chances are unless you watched a walkthrough, you died here your first time. Then there's the inaba-bot massacre in the final stretch. Thousand Knives will make this easier (I could have this statement in copy-paste, ze), and the Magical Broom might also help. I prefer doing it normally, but that's me. For the Mushroom Tank, you're basically doing the same thing, but with less room for error, because you're jumping toward the enemies instead of in the same direction as them. This is Mushroom Tank #1 of 8. Eirin is a good example of a boss that can make you focus on dodging and kind of shoot blindly. I provide not the best of examples here (as usual) but there <b>...</b>
