This car is another one-off, built for a well-known car enthusiast in the middle-east, most of his cars wear the famous lightblue colour. It is called the Pagani Zonda Uno, just one car will be made with a mixed body-shape of the Cinque and Zonda R. It will feature 700hp and is completly costumized.

Epic is not an adjective i use quite often to describe a car. The Pagani Zonda R is certainly one of the most incredible cars i have ever had the chance to see and film in person. I was lucky enough to film the action so close with the Pagani team and mr.Horacio Pagani in person in the pitlane area. You can see it in action being driven by Andrea Montermini a former F1 driver. The Pagani Zonda R is the Italian supercar maker's most track-focused car. At the foundation of its performance lies a 48-valve 6.0-litre V12 engine acquired from Mercedes-Benz AMG division. It kicks out 750hp (552kW) and maximum torque rated at 710Nm. Accessing this power is a 6-speed sequential gearbox from XTRAC which runs the big Pirelli P Zero rear 335/30/20 tyres. Front rubber measures 255/35/19. Together they hurl the Zonda R from a standing position to 100km/h in 2.7 seconds. Top speed is estimated at over 350km/h.

I have filmed the unique orange Pagani Zonda Cinque Prototype 2, originally this one was a grey Zonda F and then after a total conversion in Cinque the colour has been changed with a vinyl wrap. The car is used for the road tests, probably to test a future C12 Zonda one-off before the arrive of the new C9. Also, this one will be used for the official presentation of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit and used in the official video against the Police Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. On the occasion of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the "Frecce Tricolori", Pagani Automobili created the Zonda Tricolore as a tribute to the National Aerobatic Team. In 2010 the aerobatic season of the Frecce Tricolori comes to its 50th anniversary, wich will be celebrated on 11th and 12th September at Rivolto Airport (info: www.aeronautica.difesa.it). The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolour Arrows), officially known as the 313th Aerobatic Training Squadron is the demonstration team of the Italian Air Force, based at Rivolto Air Force Base, in the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli Venezia-Giulia, province of Udine. They were formed in 1961 as an Air Force team, replacing previous teams that had been sponsored by various commands by the end of the 1920s. The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat aircraft capable of 898 km/h at sea level, with nine aircraft and a solo (the highest number of aircraft of any aerobatic team in the world). The Frecce Tricolori belong to the legacy of the entire italian community.
