A lecture prank involving a choreographed fencing fight scene, mariachi band and lots of mustaches. Btw, we didn't give the professor any kind of warning this was going down. We pulled this off in an Organic Chemistry 2 lecture, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. There were some 18 people involved between the front and back of house personnel. Very complex, very theatrical, very good, and very funny. Be sure to check out the "Zorro Lecture Prank (Behind the Scenes)" video for some insider footage! This is the original copy... I am the copyright holder. Notice the upload date. Note: we are not affiliated with the UM Patriots, nor any other formal prank group. We operate independent from said groups, and are not a group of our own, merely a rag-tag group of friends. The why = just for the heck of it. Enjoy.

it's a standing cat! You're welcome, internet. When I first saw this clip, I felt that someone had to put boots on this cat. I had a quick look around YouTube, and came to the conclusion that that someone was me. Special thanks to my boy Adobe After Effects for hooking me up with some neat-o effects! Also Matt's cat Plato for providing a menacing guitar track.

Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in "The Mark of Zorro".(1920) Fairbanks was the original action star, performing all of his own stunts.(He was an accomplished gymnast) His films("Zorro", "Robin Hood", "The Three Musketeers", "The Thief of Bagdad") are still being remade. Fairbanks' Zorro was also the inspiration for the character Batman. Set to the music of Tchaikovsky's "Capriccio Italien".

To portray the dastardly Jacob McGivens, Martin Campbell selected Nick Chinlund, explaining, "Nick looks threatening to me and carries off that enforcer feel he is the gunman hired to do the dirty work". Chinlund accepted the role in part to work with Campbell, but mainly because when he read the script, "The words were great, the style of speaking was very specific. There was only one way to deliver those lines, which is a gift when it happens". (Variety)

This would be my field show...might as well let it all out: DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO PLAY THIS?! IT GOES WAAAAAAY TOO FAST! IT GOES WAAAY OUT OF MY RANGE(and I'm only THIRD trumpet)! And--And--AND I JUST GOT OUT OF JUNIOR HIGH! Can you believe that I'm supposed to MEMORIZE this?! Anyway, the pieces are: Mask of Zorro, Diego's Goodbye, and Mask of Zorro-Finale. Oh yes, one more thing: Mitch(a trumpet guiness my age that I've been in band with since 4th grade) was able to play it perfectly as soon as he got it(He's better than the section leader XD!). ----- That was my first impression, now I have memorized the first and second song but the third one...I can't seem to get past the fuge(fug fiuge, however you spell it) TTT.TTT . Maybe I'm just not as talented as you all, but can you try to be a little nicer?

Adrian Alonso tuvo que aprender el inglés para su papel de Joaquín en "La leyenda del Zorro." Pero en la película hay esta escena muy dulce en que Antonio Banderas y Adrian Alonso hablan el español. Ojalá que les guste. :) * For his role as Joaquín in "The Legend of Zorro", Adrian Alonso had to learn English. Nonetheless they squeezed in this little treat of a scene, in which both Antonio and Adrian speak Spanish. Zorro: Let's speak in Spanish, the language of our ancestors. Joaquin: My mother won't believe-- Zorro: No! It would be better if you didn't mention any of this to your mother. Joaquin: Why not? Zorro: I ask the questions here! Why aren't you at school? Joaquin: The guy with the scar on his face... I knew he was up to something! (ahh I can't catch it, but it ends in calling the scarred man an ass by way of "cabrón") Zorro: Hey! Watch your mouth. Men like him are killers. Whatever was in those boxes was dangerous, but I wasn't able to find out what they were up to because I was in too much of a rush to rescue you! Joaquin: You mean this? Zorro: Soap?! Is this all that there was? Joaquin: Lots and lots of it! Zorro: You're sure? Joaquin: Would I lie to you? Zorro: In Spanish, muchacho. Alright, c'mon, let's get you back to school, your father will be looking for you. Joaquin: No, that's not true. He doesn't care about me. Yesterday he forgot to come pick me up, like always. Zorro: No, I don't think he could ever forget about you. What you need to understand is <b>...</b>

One of the offshoots from 'The Inner Me', is the contagious, summer-spirited 'Zorro'. A brilliant, melodic piece of summer. As one of the 17 jewels from his 'The Inner Me' album, Ashley Wallbridge couldn't have picked a more fitting tune to lure the sun to come out.
